probably shouldn't be here but here goes
please could people use the thanks button under the op's thread instead of
thanking people on a post.
it just bumps the comp back up,and people enter again,if they're not careful, and probably disqualify themselves.
just nearly done it twice myself !!!it's a good job i remembered the comp.
don't want to upset anyone either, just thought newbies may not know about the thanks button2013 wins..... Disney on ice VIP tickets...amazon Kindle0 -
Angelbreeze, you are not alone in this sentiment. I know others will probably knock you for having said it, but you have definitely been more diplomatic than others in the past and I absolutely agree with what you say. Thanks for taking the time to mention it - when I was a newbie I didn't have a clue how things worked and didn't mind some helpful advice to have things go smoothly! But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0

Thanks angelbreeze.
You said it very tactfully.42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot:hello: Good Luck everyone !:hello:0 -
I also agree with you Angelbreeze, I've enetered a few comps this week that I had already entered.
Its my fault for not checking the thanks button but sometimes when I have a lot of comps to catch up on I get carried away.JUNE: Wine - DVD :j0 -
Ditto what stressed of devon said. We all go through the learning process and get over enthusiastic on first joining . When I first joined my main fault was in not searching to check the comps were not already there
Also, I used to be linking to comps on "spammy" sites~ if a site looks amateurish and prize is too good to be true it usually is.
New compers also please can you put an Expiry date in the title E: 31/1 etc ; if you need to edit the title go to Advanced edit which allows you to change title of your post. And in the body of the post please can you indicate if you need to join the site for newsletters before entry to the comp e.g. "Log in/Register" (I do sign up to some of them but don't want to join all of them just for a comp).
That's all, cheers!:D0 -
if you were to use the thanks button in the 1st place then you would not be in that situaion would you.thats whys its there to say thanks and that you entered.....isounded harsh and didnt mean to so sorry iof i offended any1,Replies to posts are always welcome, if they are done in the correct manner. If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

Only just realised that on thread if you press last page it takes you straight to it, normally click on header then last page, you learn something new everday. Only taken since June.
lol, it took me a while to realise the little box with a down arrow key by threads would take me to the first unread post since my last visit!Weight Loss - 102lb0
