Aw thanks chaps - chum has just popped her jack russell here for the week they're off on holiday and I'm puppy sitting - its not altruistic in the slightest I'm hoping they'll have one of mine at christmas when we are away as the usual puppy grandma is not her usual self.
Wow to the bargains EH - and yup seems I'm not allergic but man they itch!!
Hope everyone is grand.
Roast chook (reduced) in oven - HG tatties on the stove and turning 2kg of tommy's into soup as we speak.
Lunches in the freezer are a bit bare - but the stores are full so need to make a plan or two to fill up that freezer with tasty work treats.
Paid cleaner £44 for the month
Paid £180 to holiday to DH
Paid £40 buspass for dd for her buses.
All good.

we were doused in vinegar if we were stung as children. can't remember if it worked but it may be worth a go.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. That's a good bit of advice INOD - vinegar on wasp stings does work I believe. Of course with 22 of them Pippi might get mistaken for something from her local chippy if she tries it! :rotfl:
Saw the puppy pic Stripes - very cute. I can only imagine Hound the Elder's reaction to THAT little bundle of trouble, though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I was indeed sent to the work shower with a bottle of vinegar and a radio (walkietalkie) so I did rather smell like a pickle.
Waves to all. I think the youngest hound here has its nose far more put out than that of senior EH - most amusing. Elder hound has been offered lodging with best chum in dundee - so if wee maw is still not 100% then I don't have to impose. Younger hound sadly chases the besties cat too much - elder hound simply doesn't care.
Busy busy day at work - new building opened and we had an apple juicing day - home with some free apple juice - beautiful - and as many apples as I could carry - this I did decline as well, we've plenty here.
Bit cold so looking to put the fire on later.
HG/HM lunch at home as nipped back to check the hounds. 3 dogs at work is a step too far even for me.
Thinking chinese chicken curry for tea from the reduced chook everyone was too late/too tired to eat. It won't go to waste that's for sure.
Wood needed to be topped up and the kindles - will do that first.
Hope everyone is well.

Did you do curry with your chook Pippi? I used a chunk of ours from sunday in a sort of Spanish Style stew last night - it's purely made "Spanish style" by having smoked paprika and masses of sliced peppers added to it if I'm honest, but it sounds good! :rotfl: (tastes it too!)
:rotfl::rotfl: imagining Younger Hound's reaction - yes, I can see that! Glad one of your two at least is sorted for Christmas.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

A chunk went to curry yes - the rest is 'pending' - thanks EH.
Applemuncher - yummy reminds me I must pick ours. We have a variety called Allington Pippin at work - its gorgeous too.
Busy day - wee maw is back in the big hosp not going in again tonight, was there last night again. Been a bit frantic tbh - petrol budget it out the window this month. Not sure I can make much in the way of overpayments but its a very odd time.
Need to organise an online shop and sort few bits for himself - who's up to his ears in MSc.
Guess I'll check the banks and see if I can get my head round an online shop.

Last time you need to be worrying about is the petrol budget.
