Sun's trying to come out here but not really succeeding well - hey ho.
Stripes sending good vibes about your Ma - you can only do what she'll let you but of course you're going to be worried, that's inevitable. Hoping there's some more news about treatment etc by now - another friend of mine is currently going through the "treatment before op" thing too - radiotherapy in his case - so it's not an altogether strange concept to me - the idea being I think that it will shrink what is there to make it accessible for an Op.
Nice sounding baking going on in here mind - I finally managed to have a proper cooking session in my fabby new kitchen on Friday - much curry-ish goodness was made and some of it resides in the freezer for another time which is rather wonderful!i do love a carrot cake though. As for "not liking cake" - I've seen you eat cake! :rotfl: (And you didn't pull your beer-face at it either!)

Know you got a lot on your plate just now...
Just want to let you know that I am thinking of you and your wee mammy
:ABUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Aw thanks chaps for being so kind and lovely and being HERE.
Much appreciated.
Wee mammy isn't so great but fighting her corner - was at the big hospital earlier in the week having first treatment - 7.5 hours of treatment later I took her home to have a rest and hopefully it will start to fight the nasty stuff. Back again in under 3 weeks for the second round. Poor wumman. Need to help get some paperwork and a blue badge sorted for her as the hosp is in a diff region to where she lives so she needs help from diff people. Crossing everything and know all the good vibes here are also plentiful. Thank you so much
Just in from work, yes whilst the wee white monkeys aren't up yet - there's lots to do as our new building opens tomorrow. Accidentially managed to unearth/move/distrurb/piddleoff a wasps nest yesterday.
Not fun. We can safely say I'm not allergic, but I do feel after 22 stings I've been through the wringer with a boxer. I won't be disturbing wasps again that's for sure.
MSE wise not much happenning - eating meals from stores etc but no mindful MSE'ness occurring right now.
First time I've turned on the pc so I must check banks etc.
Lovely to have a breath to catch up with you all, missed you all!
XOXOXO

22?!!! Ouchy - poor you! (And thank goodness you're NOT allergic!)
Lots of positive vibes heading to your Mum & you - best place, best possible treatment is a great place to be tackling this from so fingers crossed for her. Hope the paperwork and blue badge sorting goes smoothly too.
Thought of you this afternoon when we nabbed some YS'd bready bargains - bagels at 8p or 5p a pack, and oven bottom muffins at 4p a pack. Freezer is now full of nice bread type things!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
