  • Hey there - ha I had a long rambly post and so I lost it. Figures.

    EH I get you but I need the focus of picking my knickers up at least once a fortnight otherwise I run out of underwear. DH doesn't get it at all. But for £22/session I get two lovely clean bathrooms and all my floors hoovered and washed and windows washed. BLISS. And you are probably 100x less messy than I.

    Brownies on the go here - so cheap I forget to do them. Bro no 1 is here as its larder day. So much coffee and builder skills to be dished out and received.

    All the cake ingredients are here. They bought them themselves.

  • Bit the bullet and paid the whole £300/housekeeping+cleaner money to the CC reducing it down from 2700 to 2400.

    Lets see what else I can pay off once the last of the spends this month are over.

    Seems this what I did last month - so I guess as it was painful but not leaving us without food - I shall do the same and use £300 of my wages for the housekeeping - housekeeping to go straight to the credit card.

    DH pays in the housekeeping I should say. :A So whilst I'm not using his housekeeping to pay the credit card but loaning myself it for the CC and using me own wages for the housekeeping IYSWIM - its merely a 10 day loan.

    Kinda

  • :rotfl::rotfl: At you having a cleaner to make sure you pick your knickers up! Stripey ones, I trust?! :p. I think we both know I am most definitely NOT less messy than you too - and even if I am, MrEH certainly isn't! :rotfl: If we could get a cleaner near us for the price you pay I think I'd be considering it mind - although my lovely shiny new kitchen & bathroom are MASSES easier to keep clean than the skanky old ones that you will recall! :D

    And :j:j:T:T for spectacular debt-bashing too - brilliant work!

    ...3 furies descended...

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    ...my fondest wish is to have three furies descend upon our house every week...

    ...when I mentioned this to the newly retired & self-nominated house-husband he got upset and asked if that was a NOT SUBTLE way of telling him his house-keeping skills needed development...

    ...OH spent most of his life catered to by his ma & then ex-wife...

    ...needless to say I don't subscribe to this way of being...

    ...fly-lady petrifies me...

    ...it's no wonder I pray for furies...:o:o:o
