Broken card

Hi,
My LLOYDS credit card has stopped working today and I have a question I couldnt find answer anywhere. Will I be able to withdraw money when I visit bank tommorow or do I have to order replacement card to do so?
The other thing is, will I be able to order new card so it's delivered to bank branch rather than my address?
I know that I can get answer to that tommorow but I can't wait.
FYI.
I cant wait a week for new card without access to my money.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Depends what you mean by 'stopped working'. The card could be defective, it could be stopped by suspected suspicious activity, you may have entered the PIN wrong. Perhaps Lloyds systems were down, or Visa's, or the shop's.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

I have tried many ATM. The card won't get recognize. I put the card in and the ATM says Insert Your Card or Your card cant be recognized. Something like that. I tried using it online it works without problem.
I forgot to say that the card has dent in the back where the chip is.0 -
You can withdraw at the till without the ATM but they'll ask to see ID.0

Does your debit card work for access to cash? If you bank with Lloyds and your current account is empty they may be able and willing to offer some sort of temporary overdraft facility while waiting for the new credit card....0 -
Speak to Lloyds and see if the new card can be delivered to your local branch if you like.0

As it's a credit card my guess is that you'll be getting a cash advance. Not much of a problem: Take photo ID into a Lloyds Bank branch, ask for the cash advance and order a new card. As far as I know cards whether credit or debit are sent to a home address and not a bank branch but you can ask.0 -
Take ID to withdraw cash - you may be limited at the counter - Ask them to order the new card.
Don't believe they can deliver to a branch - any reason you don't want it sent to your address?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. Quick update.
I've been to the bank and cash out money without any problems.New card was ordered at the same time. They can't order new card to bank branch which got me worried because I live in the building with many flats and there isn't any PO boxes or anything and the mail is getting lost all the time. Like, I've seen ripped parcels, mail laying on the ground. I've tried to explain that to the lady at the bank. She asked me if I have other safe address where the card can be delivered which I don't. She said if the card won't come by 11th or 12th than I have to report lost or stolen card. I'm a bit confused now. What if the card really won't be delivered to me, what then? Order new one, same thing can happen. I'm considering renting PO Box just for one month but I'm not sure this is a good idea.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.0 -

Go back to the branch and ask for the shared mailbox option to be ticked this alerts that the post is shared and card will arrive deactivated and will require activating so if it is misplaced it will be worthless to anyone else.
Cards take between 7 - 10 working days to arrive hence you being told that the card will have to be cancelled if it hasn't arrived by 11th/12th.
I would assume it would be more likely uptill 17th as the 11th is only five working days if you ordered it today, were you not given an expected arrival date when you ordered?
