OK so the letter headed 'Notice to Keeper' is from Parking Collection Services who just happen to be part of Debt Recovery Plus the debt collection agency. I believe some parking companies use them to do all the paperwork for them, perhaps some of the regulars on here can confirm this.

DRP = ZENITH = PCS - all the same company , a DCA , these can be ignored

its paperwork from the PPC or their solicitors you need to worry about , not debt collectors

    correct

but sometimes PCS do the back office work on behalf of a parking company , so they sometimes send out an NTK , usually with an inflated cost too , hence the extra £20 or more compared to the original charge allowed by the BPA

I converted the link for you but it doesn't work, seems to go to photobucket's home page. I tried with and without .jpeg as that was outside of the link but neither work for me.

Can you check the link and post correctly.
  • 2 girls have just had the LBCC Letters for court, they will owe about £18,000 if they lose .
Are these genuine LBC's from proper solicitors? Because debt collectors like DRP are known to use the trick of using notepaper headed with the name and logo of a firm of solicitors, pretending to have been sent by the solicitors. If the letter still asks you to send payment to the debt collectors it has come from them and not the solicitors, so it can be ignored. A real LBC or LBA from real solicitors should be acted upon.
Hi many thanks for your reply,
the court letters did look like photo copies, we rang the court and they confirmed the case number, so we believed them to be genuine.

Do you know if they have received actual court papers and from which court?

Is the claim for a few 'tickets' or the whole lot because if it's roughly £9K for each person that's about 80 tickets!

How much is the actual claim for, is it the full £18K or a much smaller amount?

I thought photobucket were now charging for posting on third party websites.

Postimages or Tinypic are still free so you could try one of them. Paste the URL link here but change http to hxxp and someone will convert it to a live link. Make sure you redact all personal info, including the user name of the web hosting site.
