Been working full time all week and for the foreseeable future on a long term contract. Busy busy week as the side hustle job had two meetings too. At least it's bringing the money in and I should get paid holidays now too for a while. Need to spend some time working out the finances and updating all the numbers as there's been a change in most of them now and while I have full time work we're still trying to stash away as much as we can.

Very busy being busy and time to relook at finances over the Easter period. Still on top of things atm but waiting to see how much new job brings in each month. Likely to be close as to whether we can carry on paying things off or not. Plan is to wait until we have a better idea of income before tackling the debt. In the meantime we are carrying on stashing any extra away in the hope that this will cushion the blow between where we are and where we need to be until we can rejig the finances. Feel stressed about it today but hopefully there'll be good news soon to offset the stress.

Shuffled another £500 over to Emergency fund as hubby has done a lot of overtime this month. All electronic so it can be shuffled back instantly if we need for bill paying.
Today is a NSD apart from an egg for hubby as everyone/thing else is sorted already. Got to resist the temptation to splurge on other things especially when we have a freezer and cupboards full of food. Washing powder needed as is loo paper probably because we always need that!
Plan is to do housework today so we can have a lazy one tomorrow apart from in-laws popping round for tea. NSD tomorrow then too.

Happy Easter to everyone on here. NSD with family today. Plan is to tidy, clean up a bit, eat well then probably play some silly board games.

Haven't posted on here for a while but job is going ok so now sitting here on hols for a couple of weeks. Still stashing away as much as we can and paying down the debts slowly. Need to make sure we have enough cash around in case I end up out of work in the future so we are still trying to be frugal and still bringing in extra from our side hustles and overtime.
Still trying to declutter and there's a car boot coming up soon so hoping to get rid of some stuff there, the rest can go to charity.

Plodding onwards, just had a shock looking at latest wage slip for this month as the tax man has reverted to taking whatever he wants instead of sticking to a code. Hopefully the council can get something sorted or it's a month of beans on toast till we get through!

Been slacking off here for too long and need to refocus (again). Have just looked at finances and we have managed to slash £5.3k off our debts in the past year and saved up some money as well (not sure how much because it's in the credit union where we can't get at it easily!) Proud of all of us for how much we've managed to change things even in such a relatively short space of time. Job security has just been pulled from under us again so it is back to the frugal ways to try to keep spending as low as possible and stash away any money I do get for the next month or so. A bit down but most definitely not out!

Feeling meh today so a bit of decluttering, tidying, housework and then a nice long walk with an audiobook for company. Pay day has been moved from yesterday to next Friday as I've changed job codes for the next two months which is a right royal pain so living on fresh air for a few days. Luckily the freezer is pretty full so we won't starve and we aren't doing anything outrageously expensive (ever!)
