Just received an email advising my present time is coming to an end. I started in April for 6 months. However I thought they had said they were starting us again for 6 months from the moment the lockdown was lifted.

That might have been when they thought things were going to be on hold for longer. The posting has continued for the majority of the lockdown.

I seem to have been doing this current survey for ever but must confess, lockdown has made me lose all sense of time.  Its been hard to differentiate one day from the next .  The only day of the week which gets remembered is the day we have to put  out the refuse & recycling bins !

Clearly they still haven’t worked out what is going on in that case! I started in January and so should have come to an end of my stint by now but likewise, thought we were commencing a new 6 month session from June.  I haven’t had an email to confirm that I’m finishing but I did receive a message asking if I was happy to start sending parcels from September (which I said yes to).  However, I have nothing to post in my queue past next Monday (17th August).

The message I received when we restarted after lockdown was:
    • We're extending your 6-month participation period another 4 weeks just this once - we hope this is fine with you.
I started current stint end of Jan so expect to be rested soon.

I'm another one that started this stint the end of Jan.  I've got 3 cubes to post next week which is normally a sign that I'm coming to the end of a stint!

I was stood down in February and haven’t been contacted to rejoin yet.

I started my last stint at the end of November 2019, paused for lockdown and in mid-July received my "goodbye for now" letter 18th July 2020, which was about 2 weeks after I last had anything to post. I would have prefered to know in advance my stint was ending as opposed to the posting packs just stopped arriving.

On reflection I'm not really sorry my present stint is coming to an end. At least no more queuing in the post office to post Cubes.  Hopefully when they offer me another stint in 6 months the landscape will have changed and they have found a vaccine.

I finished mid July 2019.  Early October I was asked to re start and no sign of being axed so far.
