Quite like the fact that the items are made up ready, and the band around them saying when to post, saves a bit of time and also 25 points for saying you have received the item to post.
Looks like they track the time it takes for you to recieve mailings from them and pay you accordingly.
How does this work? How can they differentiate between a data entry delay and Royal Mail delivering it late?

I also got 25 points for receipt of the posting pack.

Spectos record the time the pack leaves them. There is an RFID in the pack so they can track it's progress. I record the day I recieve it in the app. They therefore have extra data for their survey, albeit mostly on Birmingham post.

I just received a posting pack for Spectos. It has a single letter that needs to be posted... today.

It is already prepared and sealed - it feels like the RFID inside it is the same that Kantar use.

Here too. It arrived after last posting time on local postbox. So I had to go on a long walk🤣
Given how sporadic my postal deliveries have been recently, I’ll probably receive the posting pack on Friday then with a request to post it today!
I've just received my first letter from spectos that said letter had to be posted yesterday! do I need to wait till next week now?
can we post letters anytime of day, didn't see if I said a.m or p.m?

    thanks

Got my first one a day late too. At the bottom of their letter it says to post on the same day next week.

Just received an email from Kantar saying

Currently we are looking for new people like you to join the survey in your postcode area.

Seems a bit strange as they are finishing in March.

I think there is a level of cooperation between the 2 companies. They probably want to hand over a full complement of panelists to Spectos when they finish.

I also got my first pack today - for posting tomorrow, just as well as I only go near the late collection postbox once a day.  It does say the item can be left until the same day the following week if unable to post. Happy about receiving items ready prepared as well.

Spectos seem to want the items posted before the last collection time as opposed to Kantar who just tell you either am or pm.

That’s going to be annoying, given all the boxes near me have last posting times of 9am and 7am on Saturdays. Did I see somewhere though that Spectos are happy for it to be posted last thing the night before, rather than having to get up, say, before dawn on Saturday? Whereas Kantar were happy for it to be posted at any time on the same day, as long as the time was accurately recorded?
