I have a cube to post and the online instructions say don't add a RFID. Has anyone else posted a cube minus a RFID?

Said cube will be posted in a mail sack.

Lucky you, I ordered mine on the 20th and I'm still waiting. So I had to use my card for a purchase. I also ordered a reward on their Incentives Program at the same time and got it almost immediately. Anyone else having trouble?

Yes, it is different from the paper schedule. Paper schedule instruction is to add a RFID. I know Kantar tell us to always follow the online instructions as they are more up-to-date.....it just seems strange (to me, anyway) that I should be posting a cube without a RFID. Wondered if anyone else has done this.

If you had nothing else using data on the phone at that time, then it was the cost to enter the survey data. As you were out and about and can't have been using any data until you turned on mobile data then that is the cost to record each time you post a survey item. Assuming 3 items a week, that's £1 a week, and 6 months survey period means the average cost to do the survey is £26. If I am correct you are paying to take part in the survey as stamps and posting parcel rewards are insufficient.

Mine will charge me a minimum of 10p to use any data, perhaps more as it will depend on the amount of data use. Haven't logged at post box yet. I'm waiting for the complaint.

That's the problem - I think there were other apps running in the background, using up data, but unfortunately I'm not clued up on mobiles and just went ahead without considering this.

I asked Asda Mobile about data costs, and what I could have done (if anything) to reduce the cost, but unfortunately I got a foreign lady and we struggled with the conversation. I don't think she understood my question. She did say though, that I'd used 7.7 bytes on that particular transaction and the charge was 4p per byte.

Even the mail app will check for emails as you switch on data. Closing the apps won’t help. I suppose you could go into settings and turn off data for every single app that is on the phone. A bit time consuming though. The phone isn’t really designed to be used in this way.

@homingpigeon have a look at *TALK MOBILE * for very reasonable tariffs. They currently have an offer for £10 per month for 30GB Data, with unlimited texts and calls. There are cheaper tariffs too starting from £5 and they use Vodafone's network.
You can also find them on top cashback to get a little extra back 😉
Ive been with them for a few years and live in an area where mobile reception is quite patchy and so far they've been good.
