Kantar - Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

I post letters, large letters and parcels, mostly for my eBay sales, and always use stamps - some from the survey and some from an auction-house purchase. They've never been queried.
I once enquired at Royal Mail Customer Services in York as I had a few half-penny stamps which were part of a collector's lot, and very old. I was told that as long as the stamps had the Queen's head on them, they were still usable, even though half-pennies hadn't been in circulation for a long time.0 -
I'm back on the panel and in several days, have a couple of cubes in the ginormous bag to post.
I take the post to the local village post office, where the assistants are nosy chatty, and wondered, if being asked, the reason for sending parcels this way. Or do they just take them without asking?0 -

@Baileys_Babe I could say that I'm posting as a favour, but it depends how many times I will be asked to send them. I could definitely say that the first time I send.
Thanks for the suggestion.2 -
That's what I did - walked in with the bag, told them I was dropping them in for a neighbour and I had no idea what I was meant to be doing with them. It's a good excuse for not knowing what you're meant to be doing with the bits of paper. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.5 -

Thanks, some great suggestions mentioned. I'll definitely say that I'm helping a friend if asked.
Do you have any idea how many of these type of postings there are likely to be, ie monthly, or (hopefully) less?2
