    Hi G,

It's the number at the bottom left of the info panel on the front of the postbox. It should be eg ZZ11 56 for a postbox in postcode ZZ11. If you can't easily run back and look - try sticking the approximate postcode into http://dracos.co.uk/made/nearest-postbox/ and zooming in to find the box. Not perfect (right quoia?) but it might help.
I need to think of something new here...

What is the location of the post box?
    Postcode? Street/Road name and Town?
Near anything specific? A pub, bank, shop etc.

I'll see if I can find it

I've had this problem several times recently – I can't find it on the system even with the ID number! I just email them and they usually reply a day or so later and tell me they've added it to my account.

Did say it wasn't perfect... we can see the Spar with the letterbox icon. It could be SA73 10 which is shown to the west but it could also be a new box inside the Spar with a new number. Google StreetView shows there's a sub-postoffice inside the Spar so telling TNS that should be enough for them to find the ID.

Long day out, just got in and had 10 minutes on this.

Not sure where you got the 2HE bit of the postcode from but the "Post Office" within the SPAR shop actually has the postcode SA73 2AA

As NBLondon says Postbox ID SA73 10 could be the one you are looking for, ....

    ..... although so could SA73 25.

Both are CHARLES ST and have the same postcode as mentioned before - SA73 2AA.

25 is described as CHARLES ST (LOWER) - Posting Location ID is 63478

10 says UPPER CHARLES ST - Posting Location ID is 63476

If this a relatively new shop/PO combination then it could be another ID altogether - the data I'm looking at is from Feb 2018 - and both these IDs (SA73 10 & SA73 25) are described as "Pillar Boxes" and are NOT listed within those described as INDOOR BOXES

I knew you couldn't resist helping :D Google StreetView shows the PO was inside Spar in July 2016. There's a pillar box at the Western end of Charles St outside the barbers and that's possibly SA73 25 - even though Draco's website thinks it's on Robert St (and SV doesn't show one there). I can't see one at the other end so I'd guess SA73 10 is the one in the Spar.

Or indeed, you could be right and there is a new one with a new number in the Spar replacing SA73 10.

You're gonna have to go look again G...

  • Or is the TNS clock 12 hours slow or fast.

Just received an invite for a correctly delivered survey and got it.
