Kantar - Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

On the 28th June I finished 2 weeks of re-training and then got the email to say we'll be in touch when a space becomes available in your area. Yesterday I received an envelope from them containing 3 smarts with a covering letter saying 'it appears from our records that you may be likely to run low soon. If you check on Postal Platform under SMART stock you should find them listed there in the category 'On Their Way to You'
I've not received anything from them to say I now have a slot on the main panel. When I logged on this morning to check my 'On Their Way to You' category 9 are listed!!! There is nothing in the item preparation section. When do the new schedules get put online?
Either I'm going live soon, or the system is having a major hiccup.0 -
Received my posting pack today and a letter headed Goodbye for Now.
It advises that I am due to finish in 2-3 weeks and enclose my usual end of term freebies.
However they started me training for about two weeks and then they advised because of no spaces available they were stopping any further postings. They then advised about 2 months later there was now a space and then I started receiving mail.
My point is I have only had 4 months on the live panel and they have counted the suspended time which would make it up to 6 months. Seems very unfair to me.0 -

In reality if your experience is similar to mine very recently you will continue to get mail for at least another 5-6 weeks. 'Official' date was way behind when things stopped. Hope that makes sense! I will shortly be doing the Unaddressed Mail survey for the first time - could anyone give me any hints/tips please?
I will of course read the guidelines, but it's always good to have advice from folk who have already done it.

They may well have assumed that you hadn't got the first set. The guide says:need_an_answer wrote: »When I did it for 7 possibly 8 weeks I sent them an email and was given an extra set of stamps.Stamps
During the start-up phase of the survey you receive 12 1st Class stamps and 4 Large Letter stamps in your first posting pack.
When you start the ‘live’ survey, every month as a thank you for your help you receive 12 1st Class stamps and 4 Large Letter stamps.
Which I take as one set for the start-up (training phase) then one per month when live.
I just looked at the FAQs on the new website where it also says
So you were right to nag them after 7 weeks and Essbiem has really been treated badly. You should be ready to switch to the live survey within four to six weeks. If you’re still being allocated West Bromwich items for any longer than that, please contact us.I need to think of something new here...0 -
I appreciate what you are saying NB and my advice to Essbiem is to email them also.15 weeks is not training that's posting and should be remunerated at such.
I have never often had need to contact them but when things get extended beyond what the guidelines say to a point that it becomes tedious to the panelist I think a polite email should do the trick.in S 38 T 2 F 50

Have you all noticed that it's now start-up phase and not training? If you read the latest guidelines they suggest that it's not just to make sure the panellist can read the instructions but apparently to test the delivery processes for their area. OK - I can accept that might be the case if you were the first panellist in that postcode area/subarea but if RM weren't doing well then the data would already show that... And for a returning panellist - that's always going to be the case. Maybe it's trying to be a nice way of saying "Yeah - we have to get newcomers to practice with cardboard for 6 weeks because some of them are right dingbats...."
I shouldn't tempt fate - i was nicely surprised to only do 3 weeks of re-training this time and as they have now sent out the September incentive, I'd be ahead of the game if they suddenly rested me....I need to think of something new here...0 -
Well, I've had an email today saying that I'm going on a 'short break'. Given how long the last stint has been - since last September - I'm hoping it will be quite a long break. Though I probably shouldn't hold my breath as last time it took over 6 weeks for them to stop sending me new packs to mail.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

My last break was longer than the usual 6 months. Had to email them in the end then it was still a few weeks before they found me a place. Which I was then promptly rested from after just a week on the full panel. Wasn't impressed. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Hi all!
I have recently gone 'live' after an 8 or so week training period that seemed to go on for months. Week before last I had 2 cubes to post in the same week. My next pack has just come through and I've got 2 DVD boxes to post in the same week. Does the 1-2 per month apply just to cubes or it 1-2 per month of cubes and DVD boxes?
Thanks!0
