Grey Paint ..

Painting has been duly completed and happy to report that polish pebble and chic shadow both appear truely grey with not a hint of purple in site.
Love both colours but maybe could have done with fire breast a shade or two darker than chic shadow, but for now more than happy with end results.
Thank you to everyone who commented above
Wow, job done already?!? Impressive - you are very decisive. It takes me weeks and weeks of agonising over various different swatches of paint samples ( that I have spent a small fortune on ) before I even get down to the final 3 :eek:I got ham but i'm not a hamster.....0 -

By 2pm yesterday i had looked at samples for as long as I could stand - so off to B&Q and bought paint. Tea done and dusted by 6pm and myself, DH and DD got stuck in. Between us we managed two coats on all walls and edges by 10.30pm - the promise of a large glass of wine at the end helped. Inspection at 7am this morning in full daylight revealed no missed bits whatsoever - so rather chuffed all in all.
But............. I now have a new dilemma. Lounge all put back together again apart from hanging curtains. Said room looks rather fresh and roomy and bright without curtains. Contemplating not putting them back up and now researching wooden blinds to replace my current louvres.......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Should I start another thread on the merits of wooden blinds, or maybe one on how easiest to keep them clean !0 -
I think I need to get the BOBS family around to do my lounge! You may indeed need a new thread. Blinds are lovely this time of year though curtains really do make a home feel instantly cosier and warmer on cold winters days.I got ham but i'm not a hamster.....0
