Im just looking at inline skates for DS birthday in November. I am going to have to start buying pressies now to spread the costs.

His friends had some last winter and they were all really good skaters. He had some the year before but hadn't quite got the hang of skating. I think its time he learnt.

he is ace on his bike although a bit reluctant to use the brakes preferring his feet, even though I told him that doesn't always work!

My 3 used to go skating at our local sports centre on a Friday evening many years ago. It was a big social thing in the village and my boys struggled socially so it was nice for them to be able to do something that everyone else did. They were all still at primary school so the boys were probably about 8 or 9.

This was roller skating, not sure if you meant ice skating Aesop, but they did have in line skates. They all had a go at ice skating too and did get the hang of that but it took much longer and involved a lot more bruises!

    £1 from instagc.

off to bed, as work in the morning.

for those using instagc, engageme tv is a good earner. although I cannot see how it makes £25/30 a day like someone claims. I think it includes surveys and referrals. Even with surveys I cannot see making that amount a day!

I have an instagc account but always found it quite hard going. Might give it another go

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone!

I gave away a 'high viz' jacket for a dog at a car boot sale once - does that count? Hahahaha! I had been given it through work to write about but didn't think there was any chance it would sell!

    Love it :rotfl:

Tally up so far of £290.91 for this month, not got a lot else due in to make this month's aim, but we'll see you never know your luck.

Must list more on ebay, think of it as a start for September.

Hey, well done :T That's a brilliant amount

Just checked my bank account and found £0.19 from eBook sales! I think this is from one I sold back in June, Amazon takes flipping ages to pay out when it comes to eBooks

Don't spend it all at once :) What is your book about if you don't mind me asking?

I meant both :) I have looked at inline skates that you can change the wheels for ice skates. He wants to learn to ice skate but I cannot take him on the ice. I have a fractured ankle and a metal plate. drs have told me never to iceskate or roller skate again.

someone told me inline skates are better for balance on both ground and ice, so that is what I am looking for for him.

I think its good for him to be an all rounder, as when older can do so many different things.

19 pence closer to paying off the mortgage!

I've got a little "series" of two ebooks (and a huge list of names in a notepad) which are collections of short biographies I wrote about various women in history :) I have plans for a third book, but the first two came out a few years ago and since then buying a house and getting married took up all my attention, so I've fallen out of the habit of doing a bit of research and writing every night. Need to get back in to it.
