  • Received my latest payment from Amazon for the items sold last week. Am adding everything to my total that I haven't already, a nice sum from them of £41.27:j.

Not sure I can squeeze anything else out of August but will be trying to the bitter end. Ebay has been a waste of time for me but I plan to try harder next month (or whenever the next fees offer that I can't refuse comes along;)). Famous last words eh?:rotfl:

eBay has been pretty quiet over the summer. I am hoping it'll pick up for September as people go back to work.

  • Just checked my bank account and found £0.19 from eBook sales! I think this is from one I sold back in June, Amazon takes flipping ages to pay out when it comes to eBooks

I'm going to claim 4.70 for something I have opened a returns request on ebay for. They have refunded immediately and said I can keep it (not that I want it!) but it's the sort of thing where I'd normally have been lazy and just binned it so now I'm 4.70 better off than I was before!

What a bizarre day. I relisted lots of eBay things which were previously on for years with no takers - received 2 offers within 24 hours. Taken one and thinking about the other one until tonight. £8.45 up. Found one other item I didn't want anymore and listed that as well (go me! :j no procrastination!)

I was convinced I wouldn't make my target this month and am now totally confused as I know I have £10 of bank interest coming tomorrow which would take me very close.. nothing like living on the edge :rotfl:

I couldn't use it either, but I hope someone did. I am down to a small box of books, 2 DVDs, the odd piece of clothing and a handful of bric a brac to sell. Unfortunately no one seems to want my junk on eBay or Ziffit/Magpie/WBB! I have tried to relist as bundles and am waiting for everything to pick up post holidays to see what happens. I don't really want to throw it out as I would rather it was reused by someone, so will have to come up with a plan B.

That sounds like heaven. I am afraid I have almost a houseful of 'treasures' that need sorting and selling/donating. I have never sold anything on eBay and keep thinking I must try this but then never get round to it. Haven't managed to do a carboot sale yet this summer either but might fit one in next month if the weather is ok.

Approaching the end of my first month, and absolutely over the moon with what I've achieved. Not just making additional money, but also paying 6x off my cc than I would in a typical month. :j

Brilliant! :T It does become addictive :)
