Dear me, where do the days go? Busy with the work project so apologies for not keeping up with diaries.
Everyone full of a cold here, so I made these brownies for the sore throat boys.
I also made some rather peculiar beetroot pancakes from the current free co-op magazine. Not a keeper, although we liked the mushroom filling -it would work better served on a slice of toasted (reduced) seeded sourdough bread.
I 'renewed' my halifax savings accounts online which increased the interest rates slightly without changing the account number, or any particular hassle. It also meant the interest for the last nine months paid out which was a nice (little) bonus. Worth knowing about. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

The man flu turned out to be worse than I thought, and even I have given in to a hideous cold. I will have to crack and go to the co-op in the morning as we are nearly out of milk and tissues
