Sounds like you've overdone it and some rest is in order...

Hope the garage/shed sorting free up the dining room soon, and then maybe you can use it for eating in :) (If people have to tidy it every day to eat they might stop dumping stuff in there - not that it necessarily works like that here...)

How is the F&V growing going?

Well I planted potatoes, carrots and salad - potatoes did really well and were eaten, same with the salad leaves but only 2 carrots sprouted and DH pulled them up before they were ready so they were tiny!

Headache and sore throat this morning so I guess a new delightful cold rather than something fibro specific. I'm doing a full days interviewing which means sitting all day, something I really struggle with on a good day as my joints seize up. Ibuprofen, strepsils and emergency banana all packed up ready.
Hope you're feeling better and manage to get an early night/ afternoon nap when you get in.

Did a bit in the Dining Room of Doom too. Why, no matter how hard I try, does it always revert to Doom? It's a general dumping ground, wood store, bike shed and laundry at the moment
    Have you seen mine?!!

A diary about cheese? And from someone who's household seems to run at least in part on mushrooms? Value/Basics mushrooms? Why has nobody informed me of this earlier?! :D A subscription has now happened in any event so no further cheesey adventures will be missed!

Cheaty pizza topping sauce - equal quantities of tommy ketchup and tommy puree, with whatever you fancy in the way of herbs and/or garlic added. Bit of black pepper, pinch of salt, spread over pizza base using the back of a spoon. Dead easy and very tasty - and the ketchup takes the slightly bitter edge off the puree. It comes up slightly thicker than one made with passata which we prefer. :D

Totally identify with rooms of doom too - Spare room is ours - well it would be spare if it wasn't so permanently full of sh.....shoddy great piles of nonsense. :o

A ha ha, our room of doom is also the spare room, it is huge but you can barely get in it. I just shut the door now and ignore it!

Yes, I'm used to managing it. I flatly refuse to let it manage me, but sometimes it takes advantage of a temporary distraction.

Hello! Yes, staple diet here, usually the value ones although sometimes the loose ones in MrM are both cheaper and fresher. Installing the monster shed has changed the shade in the back and we have a circle of horse mushrooms. I'm going to test them on OH first obviously..

We have a table for the four of us in the Snug, so the formal dining room only gets used if we have visitors :o

The plan is to move the wall and make me a study in the middle hall, but the middle hall is full of the spare unplaned oak from the kitchen that ahs to be stored somewhere dry. The DR was always going to be the last job, just not priority. Beams need restoring (bath overflow wasn't connected to anything, came home few weeks after we moved in to dropped false ceiling as a result of my wallowing, silver lining was beams and wattle/daub). That was ten years ago!
