Hi
I hope some of you knowledgable guys can help.
While I was away from my house, someone has dumped a load of rubbish (including a birdcage) in my garden
Unfortunately no one seems to know (or is willing to say) who is responsible.
The main issues are 2 big bags of what look like topsoil.

I have tried listing it on Freegle but no takers. So now I need to find someone to it away.
I've found a few sites that collect waste, but they base prices on weight and size of waste to be collected. Thing is, I have no idea how much the bags of soils may weigh.
I'm hoping some peeps on here may have a better idea. The dimensions of the biggest bag (the one without the blue box on top) is aprox: 100cm diameter, 65cm height.
I'm hoping I won't have to spend too much getting rid
If anyone know of any reliable/cheap waste collection service in Chadwell Heath, RM6 please let me know.
I'm hoping I can get rid of everthing in one go. But if not, then I can take the other rubbish to the tip myself.

Each bag is about 1 metric tonne0 -
I can't help with the rubbish that's been dumped in your garden but if that happened to me I would buy a CTV Camera in case it happens again.0

I would second the CCTV camera. Blimmin' cheek of someone to do that sort of thing:eek:
One possible way to deal with this at no cost would be to just dispose of it gradually bit by bit - ie taking an empty throwaway container (eg water bottle or the like) of soil with you each time you are going past a litter bin and leave it in litter bins bit by bit.
A snag to that being whether it might have your garden looking like a tip meanwhile and encourage other antisocials to treat it as a waste tip - so it would be helpful if you could disguise it meanwhile as the pile goes down.0 -
I've never tried it but its unlikely those 1 tonne bags have been moved by hand so they would have been dropped by crane meaning it could have been driven from anywhere. I would suspect illegal waste collectors emptying there wagon or a disgruntled builder you owe money to.
It looks like soil from digging foundations so not good as topsoil.
I would take everything apart from the soil to the tip to avoid attracting other rubbish.
You could get rid of the soil by putting false pockets in your trousers and surreptitiously spreading it in the exercise yard.0 -
Agreed with removing all other rubbish from this soil immediately - as soil could rightfully "belong" in a garden - but the other stuff couldnt.0

Put in your black council waste bin..........bit by bit obviously.0

You could dig a hole and bury it.0 -
