Thanks HB - feeling great at the moment but weekend is approaching - not sure why it makes any difference now I am retired but still get that sod it it's Friday feeling so will need to stay strong/busy

HB and Maggiem - re the Becks Blue - you both enjoy it but were not previously lager drinkers - as a lager drinker it just makes me want the real thing so I avoid it

Morning all, 2/21 for me please.

I ate the second half of the steak last night - meal the same in every respect except that I wasn't drinking and it was every bit as good without. It just goes to show. :)

It's very hard fitting it in sometimes but I feel so much better when I exercise that I see it as really important - good for you getting back in the zone tho Shaggydoo, as it's very easy to get out of it.

I really do feel so much better for it physically. I'm 55 - I guess one of the benefits of getting older is any amount of exercise seems to have health pluses.

    Day 12 of no chocolate....
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I went out to lunch today and had a mozarella panini and then went out to dinner and had pizza. I think I've blown No-sugar No-fat November and it's only the first of the month!

Occasionally I was nibbling chocolate from one of those mini bags of cadbury's stuff during the day but the real problem was when I was sitting down in front of the TV - of course, I'd tell myself I'll just have a couple of crunchie rocks, snickers, twirl etc but....you know....there is about 500 calories in one of those bags:eek:
