  • Hi Shaggy
I have just been through my 2017 year planner and counted my monthly totals.
    I had 162/365 AF days in 2017.
    That's 44%
    I've surprised even myself:j:j

me too New Me must be something about 8 days. Starting to feel some benefits now my energy levels are far higher not feeling the need for nanny naps anymore.

My energy is up and down, but I'm dieting as well so it's tricky to balance. I've found a 20min nap leaves me refreshed, any longer and I just sleep for hours until everyone else is asleep :rotfl:

I got some alcohol free cider today its a Kopperberg mixed fruit one which I love with alcohol so I'm hoping will be a nice alternative to becks occasionally. Its on offer in Asda at £2 so worth a go
That is a nice drink, enjoy :)

    10/31 please

  • Morning,

    AFD #2 of 14

I'm having trouble settling down at night at the moment and wonder if it is because of the lack of alcohol in my system. I'm having Horlicks at night in a bid to help with sleep, hope it settles down.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Hi PM2
I'm also having trouble sleeping, hence my nocturnal posts.
I'm currently using over the counter one a night tablets from Boots.

On a roll now so can you please put me down for 10/31 Shaggy?

Purple Mum of 2 and Scatterbrain, if you've been in the habit of drinking pretty much every day and you stop, you will find that your sleep is disrupted. It'll settle down very quickly.

I find the best way to get to sleep is listening to the radio - R4 or R4 Extra in my case - through an earpiece very softly after I switch the light off. Lulls me off to sleep in the same way that having a story read to me when I was a child. (Music just wakes me up.)

    10/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.
