Feeling cheated as I’m awake at stupid o’clock even after a couple of good AFDs, it never seems fair that way round! At least I’m not paying a price of any kind for drinking last night.0

Morning all.
Sorry about your sleep wannabeefree
14/14 finally.
I made target but I'm Not too happy with the amount of drinking this month even with it being December.
January has a few birthdays and social dates but much fewer than December so should be a lot better.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

21/21 AFDs today
Well done on reaching target barny. So many reaching target, no wonder that inane snowman is laughing his head off!:rotfl:
I was AF yesterday. I had thought of just carrying on having a few drinks right through to New Year but really didn't fancy it. I think I might be over the feeling of having a drink just because I can. I'm getting really fussy and have to really fancy something alcoholic more than a cup of tea.
15 AFDs please Shaggy.0 -

Hey maman, me too, and I like the feeling. I did have a drink or two over Christmas/Boxing Day but at one point thought to myself, I'm not sure I'm enjoying this as much as I used to. I'm thinking it can only be a good thing overall
I would really like to know what other people on the group think about this. I plan to make myself some chocolate sauce to go with some ice cream. The chocolate sauce recipe involves a small amount of liquor (port or marsala, or similar). Would I be right in thinking that if I put the liquor in I can't really then say my day has been AF? ... The sauce is heated, but not long enough to burn off all the alcohol. What do people think? I can always omit the liquor but am genuinely curious to know how others on the group feel about things like this. It's not quite like most cooking with wine eg say coq au vin, because in that instance the food cooks for ages and most of the alcohol will be burned off.0 -
It's definitely a good feeling cathy.:)
I'd say having alcohol in food still counts as an AF day. I have cherry liqueurs waiting for me and I think even some AF wines and beers contain a tiny amount. Then there's sherry trifle!:rotfl:0 -

Hey maman well in that case I might go right ahead then!!! :rotfl:I'm not sure myself though - perhaps it depends on quantity? ... If it's just a dash then it's probably okay? I love cherry liqueurs btw, probably my favourite sort of choccy.0
