Well done on resisting the mulled wine Cathy. I had a fair few glasses of that in Poland last week to keep the cold out. Lush!:D
Pleased with myself last night. I dithered, decided to leave it for an hour or so then thought it was late to start drinking. So an unexpected Friday for me.
12 AFDs please Shaggy.0 -
Well done Cathy Bird. I love mulled wine, and all those adverts on tv don't help!
Maman an AF Friday night (you impress me), i'm finding the weekend evenings a bit hard and have taken to going to bed at 1030pm to read..... I hope I don't have to do that long term but it's definitely safer at the min.
Happy Saturday night to you all..... It's getting colder outside. Brrrr0 -

I have thought of going contracting but that would likely involve a lot of travel. The upside would be that I could take months off between contracts......whether it would work like that in reality I don't know!
I have just put in a formal request to reduce my working week to 4 days & am waiting to hear the outcome - hopefully it will be the one I want0 -
Maman and Freedom Beckons, I love mulled wine too. It was earlyish in the day, and really felt too early, which helped
sukeyboo, well done you, hope they give you the four days - I wish more workplaces would be flexible about these things.0 -
I was driving last night so had an AF Saturday. Most unusual. Loving waking up this morning feeling great. Because I knew I couldn’t drink I didn’t miss it. Small seed in my head about tonight though. Not sure yet.Live for the moment and plan for the future0

Hi Cuppa Tea, I agree it is hard when the nights are long, dark & cold.... I feel great that I have made a start on my christmas shopping though. Not much but it is a start never the less. Going away up north for a night away next month and hope to complete it then. I have a list, so semi organised at least.
Hope everyone has a good Sunday, there is a christmas market here. DH,dog & I might pop down for a look.
Happy Sunday all xx0 -

Excellent news Sukey - let us know how it goes.Loving waking up this morning feeling great. Because I knew I couldn’t drink I didn’t miss it.
I'm so used to this now that I realise I take that feeling for granted. I lived with hangovers for 10 - 20 years most days of the week, and I'd forgotten that. Great feeling though, really glad you found it so straightforward Cuppa Tea.
I think I forgot to post yesterday. Ooops.
