Hi IamEmanResu,
Is there a template you could point me to?
Thanks0 -
They are sometimes called "Part 18" requests but here is an example for you to look at and change
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=108322&view=findpost&p=1209021
Some of it e.g. the VAT questions/Without prejudice can be taken out. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Part 18 is for info, and does not belong in small claims
Part 31 is for documents, and again does not apply to small claims
Jsut make referecne to the overriding objectives, and the requirement that parties exchange information to narrow the cause of disagreement. as such you request copies of.... within 7 days. As this is information you reasonably expect they already possess, in order to perform basic diligence when filing the claim, this is not an unreasonable request.0 -
Okay. I'll try that.

Hi Guys,
Gladstones wrote back after 10 days.
They have attached pictures of the car and the signage.
What's my next step? Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks0 -
You're still defending a claim. What did you want these docs for, now you have them ?0

Not sure. Just following the advice on the thread.
Should I not have asked for these?0 -
My father (the keeper) has never had any contact with PPS, DRP or Gladstones. So they don't know who the driver is.
As I've said in earlier posts. I (the driver) emailed DRP and PPS to tell them that I was the driver and they refused to accept that and said it was too late to transfer liability to the driver.
Bottom line - who wants to defend the inevitable claim? You, or Dad?
Who is corresponding with Gladstones and who are they still saying is liable? If it is Dad and you don't want that, you MUST get Dad to email (or you email as him) and formally name you and give your address, as driver.
You will not have any choice once the claim arrives, so are G's holding the person liable who will be most comfortable defending it at a hearing?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So you just blindly follow without question Its worth understanding what youre doing....
What do the signs say? Are they of any help to you? Maybe show us... you will have to host at tinypic and change the url on here to "hxxp" as you cannto post real links.0 -

My dads not well enough to do it now. I am more than happy to do it on my own. GS have asked for a driver to be named in a previous letter before claim, but I haven't done that yet.
Does it have to be by email? or could I just write another letter? What do the signs say? Are they of any help to you? Maybe show us...
The signs were impossible to see. The one nearest the car was an A3 sheet of corrugated card stuck on the wall 2.5 metres above ground level in an area with no lighting. It reads
"PRIVATE LAND
PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY
SEE NOTICES ON SITE FOR DETAILS
Managed by: Private Parking Solutions London Ltd
On behalf of the land owner"
In the picture they sent it seems to have water damage, but in the pictures I took a few months later it seems to be disintegrating.
My phone is playing up so I can't upload the images, but I found the exact same one online:
