    That's great news.
Apologies if you've already posted, but did you, or someone else request 2 weeks between exchange & completion. Any particular reason?

Week 8 now since my conveyancer applied for searches for my buyer, 2 weeks since the date he told me they would come in by with no new estimated date. I am so tired of waiting! Fingers and toes crossed for me exchanging and completing next week!

We are still waiting to exchange and are supposed to be completing next Friday 13th. A friend has just got me all worried though as she asked when we signed the mortgage deeds and we haven't done this yet. We signed the contract weeks ago but I guess these aren't the same thing? When are we likely to sign the deeds?
  • Just paid the completion statement money today ready for Fridays completion. I’m still waiting for something to go wrong 🙈

We also had to have 2 weeks inbetween, the builder due to being new build on help to buy requested this as HTB agents request 5-10 days notice to draw down funds. Nail biting wait - would have preferred a much shorter window
