So this morning we’ve received tr1 form and contract to sign. What a relief. Quick question, does this mean outstanding enquiry has been satisfied? And what’s the usual timeframe between signing/exchange/complete?0

Called our solicitor today, he said to come in next week to sign the transfer and we're pretty much ready to exchange. We are, unfortunately, still waiting on the results of our survey which we had put off booking because of problems with the mortgage application (broker messed it up big time, check my post history if interested!).
Survey is on Tuesday, so fingers crossed no big issues arise and we can be in by Christmas!0 -
@ironlady2022 thank you for your reply. Oh wow, so we still could be in for a bit of a wait yet then. It’s taken us over 4 months to get to this point, in particular this amended tr1 form from our buyers sols has taken ages. I thought it meant that we were good to go, but maybe not yet.0
