Good news here too. Exchanging on Monday as well to complete on Friday. All enquiries and contracts etc signed and everyone is happy. Will be 7 months from selling our property to moving to our new one. After 5 months of not having a chain complete we pulled out.Offer on this property was accepted 17th Dec so completing in 8 weeks - 6 weeks if you exclude the 2 weeks off for Christmas. My solicitors and the sellers have been brilliant at getting back to me and doing everything quick time. I’m also going to meet my sons school deadline for proof of change of address with the exchange of contracts so it’s all working out really well.I will confirm if we definitely exchange Monday. Hopefully all will be fine but you just never know.4

Hi everyone! Update from us, we have agreement up the chain to complete on 25th February! We’re using easy storage to help with the move and I have postponed the date so many times instead of cancelling and turns out I’d rearranged for the 25th which is a pleasant coincidence!
Our mortgage offer expired at end of January but the lender agreed to extend and gave a new offer - thought we’d have to resign deeds etc but turns out we can use the previous submissions.
Solicitor sending details over for us to transfer the deposit on Monday although they’ve asked us to resubmit statement s (again!)
Looking to exchange after this and give us just shy of two weeks to arrange everything. I’ll be so happy when the exchange happens and the date is concrete!0 -
Was hoping to exchange today but alas not to be. Fingers crossed for Monday to still complete on Friday.1

Might of counting my chickens early 🙈 waiting on the mortgage redemption statement. Not sure how long NatWest will take to send it over to my solicitor. If she gets it today then we maybe able to exchange. If not then maybe tomorrow or whenever the statement arrives.0

Has anyone with halifax/Lloyds been able to download a statement for source of funds from a savings account? Can’t seem to find it in the app!0 -
Fingers crossed exchanging today, was finally able to confirm bank details for solicitors and send the money across this morning.0

Exchange doesn't look likely for today either.. and I'm now stressing about when we're actually going to bloody complete!
Sellers solicitors cant open their redemption statement and it's the only thinng holding the whole process up.
If we do not complete on the 22nd Feb there will be a 4 week delay due to my H2B loan and valuation running out.
Another reminder if the house your buying is marketed by Purple Bricks... RUN!!!!!!!!!Finally completed on our new home

"Your solicitor has requested a mortgage redemption statement for your Mortgage account 8*******; this has been sent to them today. Please contact your solicitors for any further information".
I also know that my solicitor couldn't possibly have requested it until the day before I had that text at the earliest. So fingers crossed it will be imminent.
