I'm in that wonderful 'yaaaay we're moving on Friday' 'noooooooo we have so much stuff' stage BUT v grateful to be at such a stage. Other half and dog moved up today to lodge with friends so I'm now working the 9-5 whilst trying to pack. On the plus side I've found 3 boxes of magnums in the freezer which need eating 😂
Hahahahaha with the magnums!!! Such a lucky find! Can’t sit for this house moving shenanigans yo he over I have put on 2 stone through sheer stress and worry lol

when are you competing? So excited for you!!!
Friday!!! 4th transaction out of 7....solicitor says prepare myself for a long day haha!!!

Ooooo FriYAY! Exciting stuff! The weight will melt off us once this stress is over and done with. Too much time sat on my backside, constantly refreshing my emails (like a lunatic) for updates... For... past... SIX months 😩😩 that and the grey hairs! This whole process has aged me soooo much 🤦🏻‍♀️😩

18 more working days to end of SDLT holiday. (And yeah I know it tapers from 1/7, but really I think we all want to save many thousands with paying £0!)

Gotta make every day count now! Hope that so many of us get it over the line in next few weeks!!

Still here! Friday was meant to be exchange day for our chain, but at 3:30 we found out our vendor´s hadn´t even signed the paperwork and they want to exchange and complete on the same day (next week)!!! Not ideal when we´re in a chain, and everyone else has already booked removals etc for this Friday! I think it will be a long week for me :(

That happened to us @Josephgousto. We were due to exchange and found out the bottom of the chain hadn't had contracts sent out so to be fair to them they drove up to Leeds from London to sign them in the office. Just hated being kept in the dark as the agents had said all ready to go!

Oh annoying!!! We had that with our sale (the buyer at bottom was getting a 100% springboard Barclays mortgage, hence no deposit. So we refused to simultaneously exchange/complete and asked for £2500 deportati to be passed up chain - we had to as we needed to secure a rental and couldn’t E&C on sale day and sort a tenancy

though on my sale 6 years ago I did E&C same day and it went smoothly so I’m sure yours will too!

Just on the phone to Barclays trying to close my HTB ISA. Man on the phone clearly has no idea what he’s doing. I feel like I’m going to join the £0 completion statement horror stories.
