Yes I am sure that jezzebell is correct, your salary would be too high to receive any housing benefit given your circumstances.

I earn roughly 1120 ans can only pay 350 a month but will only have pennies left after that.

I've just entered these details into the Renfrewshire calculator at it comes out at zero. You've definitely entered your details incorrectly.

By the way newbie, it wouldn't hurt to actually say thank you to the people that have helped you on here.

    newbie,

There is no obligation to say thanks!

Please feel free to post any question on here as many times as you like until you understand the answer.

There is no obligation to say thanks, but there is such a thing called manners.

If you ask a question & you don't understand the answer(s) please say so, rather than asking the same question over & over & over & over again....ad infinitum....we're happy to try & expand on our answers until they get deleted by the BG.

....as aleady mentioned it's just good manners to press the 'thanks' button if people have tried to help you....discuss!

Anyone is welcome to ask questions as many times as they like. Anyone who finds that irritating doesn't have to read or post on a thread. This board is here to help and support people who are often in a vulnerable position.

Posts that have been deleted on a recent thread were deleted by two members of the abuse team as well as myself.

No-one has to click 'thanks', if you think this needs discussing please use the Discussions board.
