No I dont think you would get any Housing Benefit either, means tested benefits are for those on a low income and £15000 plus would not be low enough.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

I dont have £190 a week around with though, I have other bills to pay too so I have only £20 a month or something left.

Which is more than many people have.

Perhaps you are paying too much for some things? If you post an SOA (see the stickies on the board) on the Debtfree Wanabee board they may be able to help you minimise your outgoings.
    Gone ... or have I?

I've just made a quick calculation based on your gross income of £15k.
    No HB
    No CTB
No WTC (if you earned $15k last year too)
Sorry for the bad news

I feel for you I do as I was in the same boat years ago and I was only earning £13,000 per year, I had a £600 overdraft that ate the most of my £800 per month salary and I wasnt entitled to any benefits.

Hiya, sorry i think you have put in the incorrect details on the website. On your salary and the fact you live alone means you will not qualify for HBCTB. I work in HB atm
