Good afternoon everyone :hello:
Happy birthday Speky, hope you have a lovely evening with lots of cake xx
Sorry I haven't been posting much, to be honest I am feeling dreadful at the moment.I am so stressed about Becky as she isn't getting any better, in fact things have gone very much down hill. I just feel I have a knot in my stomach all the time and a permanent headache and I haven't wanted to spread the misery.
Anyway, I have been reading along and cheering or sympathising as required. Just wanted to say Hi really.
Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx0 -
Thank you all for the kind birthday wishes. Feeling the love!
It's a cheat day today so I had pie, chips and beans for lunch. And if everyone else's birthday in work is to by, there will be a 'surprise' cake brought out later. I'll get my shocked face prepared.0 -
Dumpling just popped back to say that I'm sorry you feel awful at the moment and I hope things improve a.s.a.p. Sending you as many gentle hugs as possible.
Specky save me a slice of cake please, because I'm back on my diet and virtual cake is all I can have ! :rotfl:

Speky a slightly late Happy Birthday. *Holds out empty plate in the hopes of CAKE*
TA please don't apologise for offloading here - sometimes you need to tell someone and if we can't at least listen to each other's woes, it would be a very sad thing.
You too Dumpling; we're here for you when you need us.
NSD for us today :money:and in fact we got some free food - 2lb of cherry plums off the tree in the alleyway. 1lb are now cooked in a crumble and the other 1lb have been stoned and frozen to do another crumble at a later date.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Afternoon all.
Big hugs to TA and Dumpling.
Happy Birthday to Specky.
Well done LW on free food. I worry about identifying plum like fruit in case they are only ornamental. We are getting blackberries from the allotment though. Mr gintot picked 1and a half pounds of blackcurrants from the garden yesterday too.
We volunteered at the foodbank today. We have been doing every Wednesday, myself for five years. Many sad stories and big families needing food. We are independent and give a week's food out to clients. A listening ear is appreciated too and we signpost to sources of help.
Thankfully DH is cooking dinner tonight, cauli cheese, sausages, new pots and mixed veg. Can't you tell he is going out to model railway club tonight! I shall eat the last raspberry Magnum.
Well have a nice evening folks.

Good afternoon everyone, thanks to Karcher for starting the thread and hugs to anyone that needs one.
Happy Birthday Speky
Another one here with a rubbish night's sleep, I've not managed to sleep well since the Meniere's kicked in 2 years ago. Some nights are worse than others and last night wasn't a good one. I am used to it though so I no longer fret about it.
After the glorious weather it has been torrential rain here with parts of the town flooded at points. Needless to say I've not ventured out but tackled some much needed admin, at least the pots won't need watering tonigh.
I hope everyone has a good evening x0 -
SPEKY happy birthday!! Hope you are having a great day
JUDI Glad youngest is reasonably ok!
well I've been MIA for a couple of days due to just having a very busy time of it. Lots of fun and games including an escapee snake (you can imagine!). Last night was spent at the boyfriends whith DS and I fell asleep watching a film. Riveting company I am!! Had a decent night sleep but still feel like the proverbial half shut knife.
Feel like I've achieved a fair bit today including a drama free walk with the mutt. Loads of housework done....clothes sorted out to sell, for charity shop/clothing bank etc. Only sat down to order school uniform so apologies if I've missed anything whilst skim reading.
HM bread and HM carrot and ginger soup of dinner. Now I'm hoping to make bed up, have a bath, do my nails and generally chill out!!
Have a good evening all xxEmma

Happy birthday Speky.......I'm sure that there is cake!
Have very little trouble sleeping......cant get enough, sympathise with those spending the night awake.
TA, Dumpling and Karcher, positive vibes winging your way.
Been a nice day here between the very heavy showers......at least I dont have to water the tomatoes!
Steak with mushrooms, carrots and parsnips and steamed spuds for dinner......was very nice.
DD2 and girls arriving tonight for couple of weeks, chaos will reign when the "big" cousins get together........only happens twice a year so its fun to watch
Need to take DGS2 home soon so will wish everyone a good night and lots of pleasant , dreamless sleep.
