Hi everyone and thanks for the kick start this morning Karcher. Judi thank goodness your sone was relatively Ok ,it could have been so much worse.it may slow him down a bit now he has seen what happens, plus the cost of his insurance will rise as well. You really are getting more than your share of worries at the moment I hope the break will give you a bit of a rest.
TA you too seem to spend half your time too-ing and fro-ing to appointments I do hope you get a chance to get away somewhere even if only for a few days for a change of scenery for you both.
Tru my Dds little new dog has an abiding hatred of anything that moves that he can't understand and will bark at anything. He goes crazy at birds flying past in the garden even .but he is such a cute little chap if a bit over excitable and things he doesn't understand and very friendly with people which is a bonus I suppose. She got him from a rescue center and he had apparently been left abandoned in a barn tied up and as far as we know had never lived in with a family or even a house .The boys all adore him, and his stumpy little tail wags constantly.
gers I too am an early riser after years of doing it and I have never lost the habit no matter what time I go to bed I still wake and get up early Once I am awake I am up I have never liked lying in bed ,but can also have a nap when ever I feel like it and a 15 minute 'nod off' recharges my batteries:)
well the sun is out here at the moment in north Kent ,though its forecast to have a shower or two at lunchtime DD is off today and we are going to have a ride down to the coast for some fresh air with the four boys. May even drop in to her sister who is at her caravan in deal for a cuppa at some point.
Hope everyone has a good day and the sun come out for you and the rain clears up.
Take care all

Morning everyone, thanks for the thread Karcher and sorry that you have had such a restless night, really hope that the irritable situation resolves x
Light cloud this morning, yesterday evening was beautiful with clear blue skies and sunshine, much more like summer
I am fasting this morning ( still doing two a week ) and then we are going out for lunch :j will go to BuryStEd and take the opportunity to drop into the big furniture store there as we have been looking for a coffee table for ages and they have a sale on. need to pop into our bank to pay a cheque in plus loads of silver that has sat in our boiler cupboard for months, perhaps it will be enough to pay for lunch!
You offload all you want TA we are here to listen, sympathise and provide a virtual cuppa my friend x
Have a good day folks x0 -
Morning all,
Very raining here this morning, the forecast was correct.
Decided not to do anything last night, just didn't feel quite up for it which is unlike me. I went to be slightly earlier to make it easier when the alarm goes off at 5.30am.
After work, some of my immediate family are going to my mums for a chinese since it's my birthday. As long as there is cake, there won't be any trouble!
karcher - Hope it get's resolved soon.0 -
Morning all.
Chucking down here and has been all night. Glad we got hubby's visit to the steam train done yesterday when the weather was nice.
Smart meters. I'd like one (but only if I can have the meter on the outside wall instead of hidden away in the bathroom). Hubby gives me a million and one reasons why I can't have one. The main one being 'big brother' spying on us when the house is empty. Tried to get round that by telling him I'd leave a light and the telly on but he was having none of it.:D. I don't want strange people in my house in case they have fleas or something.
Need to get out of bed and brave the site shower. The site is usually well maintained but the site owners always go away the main weeks in July/August and leave a friend and his wife to run the place and the wife isn't so particular about the toilet and shower block. Could use my own shower in the van but I'm a bit concerned about my purple hair. Did I tell you about my mishap with a bottle of temporary hair colour? No I don't think I did...Maybe another time.
Onwards and forwards

Karcher thank you for the new thread.
Speky happy birthday, have a great evening with your family.
TA virtual hugs coming your way, I can well understand your worry about the situation with Mr TA and all the appointments etc. I am quite cool and "what will be will be" with my own medical problems, but turn into a proper worry guts regarding my nearest and dearest ones when serious stuff happens.
Very hot here yesterday afternoon, did a little outside and then later in the afternoon ran out of steam and slept for ages, consequently poor sleep last night. Raining steadily here as forecast, fortunately have waterproof coat and shoes so should be able to potter off to my craft and natter later, hands still too painful to physically join in, but they don't mind, so I enjoy the natter and the cuppa:D
Have a good day whatever the weather. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
