I want a summer house.....I want a nice comfy retro arm chair in there with rugs and plants, a CD player with my favourite music, a couple of cosy crochet blankets, a stack of books and maybe a kitten or three.

But there!!!8217;s no room as we!!!8217;ve got the man things Observatory. (And he doesn!!!8217;t want bunting in there for some reason)

  • I was in awe of your tax refund and even the lower figure is impressive. That'll pay for a kitten or two, and a summerhouse.

My OH has a similar dentists bill over the next few weeks. As he says, it hurts and it hurts :(

  • Great news about the tax rebate Buffy, although I wish it had been closer to 30 grand for you...
I just want to give you a massive cuddle - you sound so run down and fed up. I get like that sometimes and it's not sustainable for a long time as you and I both know. I really hope that you're on the up soon.

Thank you, xxx, hope you aren't dreading tomorrow as much as me ;) I am not really but could so do with another week off!

How odd not to want bunting, once the rabbit house is done, they are having bunting!!

I thought I quoted Savingholmes, re Denplan, You OH is right Red, it hurts all ways! I need to ring tomorrow for another appointment. Have to take all the animals to the vets as well. hmmm.

Your replies have perked me up a bit, I am feeling pretty low, felt low for a while now. I am ok with work tomorrow really, will keep me busy and next weekend I want to clear the garden of rubbish and have a general tidy up. It would be nice to see my friends but I am losing touch with a lot, one friend in particular who I was meant to see, but BIL has been so ill this week, so ill I didn't want to risk not being about. I think she was quite upset.

It has been 8 months now so I guess it is understandable, but it is a bit of a blow.

Still, BIL should be out of hospital in about a month.

    xxxx

  • Hang in there. A month will fly in and having him home will hopefully ease the pressure on everyone. Why not let your friends know this and start scheduling for 6 weeks time?

£471 for rabbits dental????? Jeeeeez. Is that a regular thing? In all the years I!!!8217;ve owned cats I!!!8217;ve not paid that for all their combined dental work.

I did however spend £80 on parrot food and toys this week...pesky pets!
