  • Well I have been planning and replanning! As you can imagine.

    Aims

Ten thousand pounds in savings by December 2018. May as well set the bar high!
    Plus
1000 in the Big Emergency Fund
500 in the Little Emergency Fund.
    800 in the Summer fund
    500 in the Christmas Fund

Really need a car fund. I have a feeling mine will need replacing
Also I would like to get a summer house for the garden. Bit Frivolous but it would be good to have some where sheltered for Mum to sit.
    And me frankly! ;)

Hi Buffy - I'm back and have caught up on your diary. So sorry to read how rough it has been. You are doing amazingly well just keeping going and staying debt free. Make time for you - it's not selfish, it's essential. On the Denplan thing - I was like you and put off seeing the dentist and ended up with massive bills. Now my dental work is up to date I am on Denplan at a cost of around £30 a month....

  • Great news about the tax rebate Buffy, although I wish it had been closer to 30 grand for you...
I just want to give you a massive cuddle - you sound so run down and fed up. I get like that sometimes and it's not sustainable for a long time as you and I both know. I really hope that you're on the up soon.
