    Help please!

I have an 8kg parcel to send which is 110cm x 50cm x 35cm and I need some help as I've not used these courier services before. I've looked at some (payperdrop_uk, parcelworks and parcel2go) but have spotted a volume surcharge on parcel2go of £10, which makes a lot of difference to the cost. I've also looked at http://www.mhdirectcouriers.co.uk/services.html which is similar to payperdrop_uk.

Will there be hidden costs on these other sites - I don't want to be stung for postage on my item £6 ish sounds a really reasonable price when the PO would charge nearly £11 - is this cost right or have I missed something?

Thanks in advance of any advice:o

Yes PPD do have a cheaper option but the sales are taken off eBay which is against their selling policies & you have no comeback nor qualify for feedback.

I have added their website to list above

TK you seem to have your finger on the pulse of the couriers.

What happens in the event of a claim with the likse of PayPerDrop? Is it not a nightmare since your contract is with them and not (say) DHL?

    Arghhhhh

I normally use PPD(DHL) and never have had a problem but I sent out a parcel via another company through ebay who use Parcelforce as my parcel exceeded PPD's limits.

I have been sitting in for 3 days waiting for them to collect and they aint bothered to turn up. Won't be using PF again, that's for sure!

    Hmmm,

PF knew I had a collection on the 2nd and 3rd day as I rang them up to check all the details were correct and they promised they would collect and never turned up!
