    Morning :wave:

    Feeling refreshed after a good sleep but not exactly raring to go:o. Got up and got DS up for his driving lesson, made him some pancakes and came back to bed with a coffee and I'm staying here until 8.30:D

    I'm with Dad most of the day and tonight so I'm not sure if I'll achieve much but I'd like to try and get a few Christmas things done as my turtle task at the moment is organise your time and I've not got that much!!

    Today I'd like to ;

    Drink enough water

    Eat well - not easy during long spells with Dad as he has loads of goodies and i pick when I'm bored:o

    Write a list of stocking fillers needed

    Plan Xmas food based on what I've got and try and write a sensible list of what's needed.

    Finish my marking

    Happy Saturday to you:)

    Sounds lovely RT. I must confess there was little energy involved in my early start - just needed to get the teenmonster up, I was back in bed with a coffee as soon as I was able:)

    Evening :wave:

    Another weekend gone:eek: They go so fast but at least I got one. I was talking to an old school friend I bumped into and due to working two jobs, one of which has shifts she works 7 days a week:( Neither will pay terribly well either so it was a good reminder of the need for gratitude, particularly as she has a serious health issue and is endlessly good humoured and cheerful. I'm going to think of her next time I'm moaning about been tired or short of time:o

    My day with dad was calm and peaceful so I got a pile of marking done, sorted out lists for Christmas stuff (work and home) and wrote my Christmas cards while he was watching tv or snoozing. I managed to avoid boredom eating by taking my lunch and dinner and some healthy snacks.

    Today has been all about catching up at home and having some family time as with work and dad both get a bit squeezed sometimes. I had some lovely DD time this morning which got us outdoors and a bit of exercise so that was a good start to the day. Mum came for the afternoon and evening so ds was prised away from his Xbox under threat of death to watch a film with her. He did sneak off after dinner but it seemed like a decent compromise.

    Other small steps to success and wellbeing included;

    A good sleep

    Drank enough water

    Cheap,healthy ish eats (porridge for breakfast, hm leek and potato soup and hm flatbread from the freezer for lunch and toad in the hole followed by ys apple pie and custard for dinner)

    Cleaned bathroom and unblocked the shower :eek: , got the equivalent of a small mammal out using a plunger:eek:

    Laundry done and on the airer

    Lunches ready for tomorrow

    Raked up leaves and filled green bin. It still looks a mess but at least the decking is clear. I'll try and keep filling the green bin once a fortnight until it's done.

    Less successful things included;

    I've still got a pile of stuff to eBay but keep putting it off, I also meant to get out for a run and didn't:( Must stop making excuses :o

    It's so cold that the heating and the wood burner have been on all day

    The beds didn't get changed

    So onwards and upwards!

    Happy Sunday to you:)

    I must admit my gut instinct was to find out what he'd did wrong that would merit a tidy up of his own free will!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::o:o:o

    Today's small steps to success and wellbeing included;

    A good sleep

    Drank enough water

    Laundry folded but not put away

    Tidied DS's bedroom as I find it hard to ignore:eek:

    Cheap,healthy eats (porridge for breakfast, lo for lunch and freezer dive for dinner)

    Spent the evening with Dad

    Marking up to date

    Lunches ready for tomorrow

    Curry defrosting for an easy dinner tomorrow

    Not a nsd as the car needed fuel and I had a £1.86 grocery spend on ys veg and some milk.

    Off to bed now :)

    Happy Monday to you :)

  • You have planned christmas food and written your cards already??!! You are waaaay ahead of the game PP! I can only aspire to your level of organisation. If I wrote my cards now, I would have lost them by the 10th of Dec and have to re-write them :rotfl:!!
    Excellent work though.xx

    Evening :wave:

    What weather :eek: high winds and torrential rain all day so my fresh air has been limited to running to and from the car!
    The last two days have been a bit up and down. The kids are on great form and work is fine but dad has had his second nasty fall in less than a month and has really hurt himself:( He's so frail now and it makes me feel very sad :(:( He was in good spirits tonight though:)

    Two day's worth of small successes included;

    Laundry is up to date

    Changed my bed, cleaned the room reasonably thoroughly and hoovered. It was nice coming to bed tonight:)

    Spent the evening with Dad and took the kid's stockings presents with me and wrapped them. I also got my toenails painted while he watched TV.

    Went spinning

    Almost drank enough water

    Wrapped a few more Christmas presents

    Marking up to date

    Made a list of craft and baking things needed for school during the next few weeks and will pick them up this weekend.

    Stocked up on bargain throat lozenges in £stretcher (79p for 24) and also got a few bits for the kid's stockings .

    Got two 800g granary loaves for 10p each :)

    Cheap,healthy eats (porridge for breakfast, lo for lunch and a roast dinner using lo from Sunday with some pork steaks yesterday and a freezer dive tonight - risotto for me and DD and jambalaya for DS with salad)

    Lunches ready for tomorrow

    In money news I've been paid :j As my new month has started, my totals for November were;

    Grocery £96.59/£128 which I think might be my lowest ever:). I've been so busy that there have been no top ups so lots of substituting and lots of eating out of the freezer. This has saved me lots of time and clearly money!

    Fuel £163.40/£140. :( This is what it is, I've got to get to work and my current commitments don't allow for lift sharing.

    Personal £45.20/£44. This included the balance of my work's Christmas party, a preordered bottle of wine (to get a bit of discount) a lovely work dress from the CS (Cotswold Collection), a red wooly scarf with crocheted flowers on the ends and a box set of Jillian Michaels dvds .

    My mortgage totals will be ready on the 1st but my accountants bill will be paid this month so my OS payment won't be as big as I'd hoped.
    Anyone else getting ludicrously excited about their year end totals ?:rotfl:

    Happy hump day to you :)
