Sky won't even match my CURRENT deal!

Options
I currently receive Sky TV, Sky Sports (not HD), Broadband and line rental for £27 per month. I've gone to the retention team and they say they can't even match this again and the best I can get is £41.

SURELY that's a load of old rubbish?!

I did this today via live chat. What is the next step? Keep an eye out for a retention offer based email?

If you want the best deal you need to let it be cut off.

Okay! That's done. Broadband & TV notices handed in. Both expire 2nd & 20th September. I'll hang tight & wait.

All I have currently on My Sky is 50% off for 12 months. NOT GOD ENOUGH SKY!
  • Wish they would offer me £27.My bills have been £36.99 for line rental ,broadband basic and original package now gone up to£50+ and retentions, live chat .complaints and all they are not budging ,So I am .leaving .No effort to keep me

As I say in my signature:

    'Sky? Believe in better.'

    The joys of punctuation!
'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).

    Sky? Believe in better.

Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)

I think what's so apparnat with Sky is that they evidently make it up as they go along. There's very little logic to the deals they give out.

Got my bank bill and saw that sky had double charged me, just realised that 1 year sky sub was up. God time goes quick

Was on Sky box sets 50% = £19
    Sky multiroom 50% = £6

rang to cancel max he said was 40% of box sets for 18 months or 50% of for 12 months plus the admin. What a joke.

Now their charging you for deals

Done the cancellation for august, lets see how it goes. Currently only showing 50% of sky + tv subscription in my sky

Last year I cancelled tv, then two weeks later asked for a deal on phone and broadband (having had line, anytime calls, broadband and original tv for about £26).

The only deal was free broadband with full price line, so I moved to PlusNet. Then a couple of months later took their 75% off plus £100 credit offer, which came up on My Sky.

They certainly won't repeat the tv offer, which means spending under £7/month on Boxed Sets and Cinema, so tv will be cancelled with no intention of returning (like last year), though I am likely to return for the other services, as I'm not impressed by PlusNet ADSL and there is still no sign of fibre in our road.

Plusnet is owned by BT and Sky uses BT network so there shouldn't be much difference.
