Long story short. I was driving the wife's car. Pulled into a "hotel" in Norwich where meant to be staying. No one there to let me and the daughter in so we went for food and came back. Still no access so went and stayed elsewhere. Was parked up for 15mins max in 2 entries. Was not aware you had to pay online. A week or so later the Mrs gets a parking charge notice from National Parking Enforcement saying parked illegally £100 charge £60 if pay early. I sent the IPC letter from the site refusing to pay. Didn't acknowledge who was driving. Had the standard reply, refusing appeal, siting Beavis case etc. I've read the threads but don't know what to do next apart from don't appeal to theias. Any help really appreciated! The Mrs getting stressed as it's her receiving the charges!

That's what I wanted to clear up as the Mrs is having kittens over it. So just wait for the debt collection threats and ignore too? Or tough I just pay the 60 quid?Don't want to get a big hit on payment and costs. I've tried to delete other thread but can't.0

In addition the pics they have sent have a male stood by the car (me) and not clearly my Mrs. Does this "evidence" hold any sway?0

excellent , why did they not mitigate there loses , by asking you to move !
naa , they must have been stood there Protecting the pile of tablets that are needed to "pay online."
whyv should or would they photograph you and retain info , if at that point no "crime" had been committed" , or maybe the signage was not in place to inform you of onlinec paymentsSave a Rachael

Have you tried complaining to the hotel? You never know, they might get it cancelled for you, especially as you are suggesting they have played some part in you getting the PCN.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I am a Mrs myself, and I didn't have kittens when ignoring debt letters re fake PCNs like this, over the years! My OH did, at first...not any more.
