Oh dear, you sound charming!
Hope you found what you were looking for.
I found your post condescending, like I was too think to at least do a quick Google and the fact that I had made a post shows I'm trying to research and get more personal views.
You found my post rude and you don't like being called out on the fact you made no statement about experience just like I made no statement on research. I have no need to charm you.
I have found what I was looking for and it has been enlightening and I am grateful to those that have shared what they've been through. It has been a comfort to know I'm not the only person with concerns and that there are other options like co-parenting.0 -
My post wasn't condescending at all, you chose to see it as such. I was giving you some advice. The fact that you already knew that advice, which no poster was to know, didn't give you the right to respond in the manner you did.
Maybe the whole matter is a sore subject for you and as such puts you in a defensive position. I do understand that (and no, I'm not being condescending before you read into it again, I've been there), but it's not nice when someone who genuinely means to help is being attacked as you've done.0 -
No thought about any kids having an old decrepit mum!
This sort of attitude always makes me laugh :rotfl:
My mum was 42 when I was born. She's 72 now. I can assure you that she is anything but decrepit. She still works part time out of choice, looks after our son 2 days a week and takes him swimming and to NT gardens. She walks everywhere and is very active, is much fitter than my MIL for example who is 15 years younger.
You're only as old as you feel. Stop generalising!0 -
I'm 34 and will probably be single for while still. I'm considering freezing my eggs as I have the money and since I live in London, I won't ever be able to afford a place solo anyway.
Has anyone got any experience, good or bad of doing this? Or any recommendations of where?
Have alook at this
I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.0
