Some of us can only dream of getting to day1!! :rotfl:
There's no guarantee I'll get any further Beanie :rotfl:Cheery_Daff wrote: »You'll get to week 4 fortune!!
Bizarrely in the running bits I'm running faster than I've ever run before! before I've always done run/walk but been less systematic about it - now the regular run breaks with an end point mean I'll push a bit harder, and the walk breaks give me chance to recover.
I'm still podgy and stuffing my face though so no changes there:rotfl:
I've heard such good things about running Cheery. I've started a diary to keep a note of any changes I notice. I'm hoping that will help with motivation. As long as the changes are all good :rotfl:brizzlegirl wrote: »Echoed. Fab fab news about the running. Keep it up
Thanks Brizzle. I'm going to do my best with it.

Really not keen on the Blackcurrant Teabread I made yesterday - tastes weird
The ice cream turned out well though and tasted even more delicious eaten out in the sunshine sitting at our new garden furniture. I have to admit it does look good on the patio.
We've had a gardening day today. Mr F has been cutting hedges and I've been weeding and pruning. We'll probably do a bit more next weekend too as the guest we were expecting has cancelled.
I've listed 17 items on the Bay this evening. Sounds impressive but 12 of those were relists. Hopefully something will sell and replenish the depleted coffers.
Farmer Giles's son turned up this afternoon. They've had rams in the corral at the end of our top field for the last few weeks. Not much grass in there and I did suspect they might ask to put them in with us. Sure enough we now have 5 rams in the top field. One of them is coughing
Another early night is planned - jackdaws were clog dancing on the roof at 5.30 this morning. Mr F took FDawg for his morning walk so that I could go back to sleep but it's never the same as an uninterrupted night. And.... I plan to do Day 2 of C25K tomorrow  So I'll need to be awake for that :rotfl:
Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend.

I love exercise Fortune, I've been exercising 3 times a week mostly since Easter, I was a gym bunny in my 20's and 30's weight gain coincided with financial loss and me having to work more ... my diet however is not always great... My mood is happier, I have lost a dress size, Well my too tight clothes are loose.
I've mostly been lifting weights but have now added classes which I have really enjoyed.

Same here Money - I was very active until I moved to Kent and started the long commute to London and back. I've got no excuse now though :rotfl:

I completed Week 1, Day 2 of C25K yesterday morning. It seemed a little harder this time but I think I'd speeded up the brisk walking bit as I was a little further along by the half way mark. I did some stretching afterwards this time which seemed to do the job as I'm not aching at all today. I only need to do one more day before Saturday when Week 2 begins
Nothing else much to report as it was a stay at home and get chores done day yesterday. Lunch was Carrot, Tarragon & White Bean Soup made with tarragon from the garden. It's a light summer soup which Mr F enjoyed but I didn't think it was anything to write home about. Supper was an old favourite - Courgette Carbonara. I suspect there will be many courgette based recipes featuring in the meal plan from now on as I'm doing rather well with them in the veg patch.
I've ironing to catch up on today and am hoping to get some writing done too as it's the market town writers' group meeting tonight.
Happy Tuesday all

I spent the morning writing yesterday but didn't get round to the ironing as I suddenly felt poorly. Enough so that I went to bed  Very unlike me. I even had to give the writers' group meeting a miss. I feel fine today though.
DSS1 called to say that he is working in the area tomorrow so could he come for supper and stay over. So much of today has been spent cleaning a bedroom and the bathroom. I managed to squeeze a little ironing in too.
Supper was Pesto Gnocchi with Pan Fried Courgettes from the gardenI also made some Redcurrant ice cream using the sauce I saved from last time. We can have that for dessert tomorrow when DSS1 is here. I picked lots more redcurrants today so will probably make a cordial with them on Friday.
I'm off to the market town tomorrow to do some chores and get my hair done. There's also a talk at the library I'm hoping to catch. Mr F is at home to look after FDawg so I might make it a proper day out and treat myself to lunch too. I'll have to earn it though - tomorrow is Day 3 of Week 1 of the C25K challenge
Wish me luck
