Yes, today I am even older 😆 I've had a wonderful day...- took FDawg for a walk in the glorious sunshine this morning
- Mr F took me out for afternoon tea in a local country hotel 😁
- I wore my new boots plus my diamond earrings. For my 50th birthday Mr F had the diamonds from his grandmother's engagement ring made into a pair of earrings and a ring for me. I lost one of the earrings 4 years ago and thought it gone forever 😢 Last week, it turned up! Mr F cleared out his bedroom drawers and I found it on the floor after 😁
- popped into the garden centre after tea and he bought a solar pump for the vintage water feature he bought me for my birthday 5 years ago 😆 He's fitted it and the feature is working beautifully 😁
- he also bought me a pretty house plant
- the Younger Fortunates bought me vouchers for my local spa
- I got lots of cards and some art materials too
- supper was a pasta sauce from the freezer followed by some of the cakes we bought home from the afternoon tea
- we've now settled down to watch The Kingsman with a bottle of red.
Our Ukranian ladies have submitted their visa applications so we wait now for the Home Office to do their thing. I've contacted our local authority to set up a home check but haven't had a response yet.
I hope everyone has been able to enjoy the sunshine today.

Happy Birthday, a little late. It does sound like a wonderful day. My friend and her husband celebrate theirs for a week. Sounds good to me...Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
