Older but probably not any wiser 😆
I had a lovely day yesterday - didn't do much of course but I was inundated with birthday messages, cards, flowers and gifts. So nice to be remembered, particularly during lockdown.
I didn't get to feel rich though. My smaller pension arrived in my account but not my bigger one. Apparently it's paid via BACS which means it can take three to five days to hit the account. So I am likely to feel rich (just for a minute) on Tuesday before I shuffle the money off to its various homes.
I checked my HMRC account and the details of my pensions are all there. However, my personal allowance has been reduced to take account of interest from savings and investments (I wish) and tax has been deducted from the smaller pension. I won't be receiving enough in total to have to pay tax but the new tax year's only a few days away so I'll wait until then before updating my details - it'll make it easier. Whilst on the site I found that I was owed £4.50 so have requested a refund and will OP when it arrives.
We had frozen pizza for lunch with some extra toppings (I didn't want to spend the day cooking). Then Mr F fetched a fish and chip supper for us which we ate with a bottle of prosecco and followed with chocolate cheesecake.
This morning we have set to work in the veg patch to try and work off all the birthday calories 😆 Mr F has rotovated all but one of the vegetable beds and I have raked them to a fine tilth. The plan was that we'd get planting but rain stopped play. We did manage to get a few rows of broad beans in though.
I've a few chores to get through this afternoon but no other plans. After a morning of fresh air I'm feeling in need of a nanna nap 😆 Or maybe that's just my age 😆
Happy weekend everybody

Glad you had a lovely day yesterday Fortune, and yay to the pension arriving (even if not all of them, and not quite all you expected!) I'm sure with your excellent financial skills you'll have it all sorted in no time. Good luck out in the garden, I hope you're getting more than the very brief flashes of sunshine we're getting here today!5

Prosecco with fish and chips 😋 I never would have thought of that, but it sounds epic! Just the thing to wash down my chip butties (the best part of the meal in my opinion 🤣!)
