greent said:I only have 1 handbag on the go (excluding a couple of small fancy ones bought for weddings) at a time - so it's worth investing in it, imo (I'm talking £100-£200 max, not Mu1berry type prices!) - if it's used for years (I think the one which is coming to an end I've had for 10 years.... - so the £100 cost in an 0sprey outlet equates to £10/ year - well worth it)
We've just had our new DW delivered and installed by JL - I have to say the service was fantastic (so much better than OA (reversed) in Dec for the WM) - fingers crossed the 2nd delivery is in good order
Pleased to hear the DW delivery went well - gives me some reassurance about tonight's second delivery 🙂

Stay at Home Saturday
I had a self-indulgent Sunday in the end. Watched several episodes of A1an Titchmar$h's Gr0w Y0ur 0wn at H0m£ and picked up a few tips. Then made the Toad House for the veg patch 😁 (pictures to follow).
Yesterday was money shuffling day so I paid the bills, put aside savings and sorted out the deposit for the windows 😁
Today I've started to weed the flower beds and prune the shrubs to the front of the house. Next I've got some housework to do and I'll need to sort out the kitchen for the collection/delivery later. I really hope there are no problems this time.
Meals have been:- Persian Eggs with Spinach & Lentils using spinach from the veg patch
- Salmon with Greens & Creme Fraiche with new potatoes from the veg patch. The broad beans are not quite ready yet so I used frozen
- Thai Satay Stir-Fry using broccoli, romano pepper and sugar snap peas from the veg box
- Sausage & Broccoli Carbonara using broccoli from the veg box and some sausages leftover from a previous recipe
- Halloumi Burgers with lettuce from the veg patch
and we're still eating and freezing raspberries every day 😁 So much fruit from a few bushes and so expensive to buy. If you haven't got a raspberry bush already, I'd say get one soon 😆
Mr F is keen to go to our local brewery on Saturday for a "real pint" and a pizza. I'd love to but I suspect the world and his wife will be there. They don't have a booking system for tables and they are relying on people to turn around and go home if it looks busy. Hmmmm - forget Super Saturday, it's Stay at Home Saturday for us 😆
Happy Tuesday all

Toad House
Just needs a coat of varnish now. I originally planned to cut entry and exit holes into the pot itself but realised I'd lose a lot of painting surface that way. My thinking now is to sit it on a little wall made of stones leaving spaces for toadie to go in and out. Dry stone walling tips please Cheery 😆
