Here's what's been taking up all my time during lockdown. Really chuffed with what we've achieved and that we've put the time to good use.

Guess what I've been doing?
More gardening 😆 This time Mr F and I tackled the big flower bed. It took a while as the weeds had taken over, and we had to work between rain showers, but it's looking so much more presentable now. Only the front beds and the courtyard to go 🙄
We had Feta, Sweetcorn & Chard Tacos for lunch (yummy 😋) made with chard from the veg patch and leftover sausage casserole for supper. We opened a bottle of red - it being the weekend and everything.
The raspberries have started so we're eating those everyday and I've started freezing some. It was lovely during the winter to have a little taste of summer to hand. My work in the spring of clearing a central path through the fruit cage has really paid off as it's been far easier to support the bushes and to pick the fruit this time.
In money news, our electricity DD has been reduced and we've been given a refund of credit 😁 I thought the payments would probably reduce as we've been playing catch up from when lodger friend was here. I've left the extra cash in the current account as we may have some more maintenance to do around the house this month.
Mr F is fed up with gardening (already 🙄) and wants a barn day today. Showers are forecast again, so I'll probably have an indoor day too. I have a couple of roof slates left so may paint those. I'd like to display some in the Annex before any guests arrive.
I've found a design for a toad/frog house made from old flower pots I'd like to try although Mr F will have to help me with that. Also a rustic hedgehog house which I have the materials for so I'll add both of those to the upcycling list.
I've finally found a replacement handbag I like - I've been looking for the last two years 😮 It's expensive (of course) but I only use one handbag at a time and they usually last for years. I've been reluctant to give up my current one as I love it but all the stitching is coming undone and it's very worn now. I've saved quite a lot of my personal spending money during lockdown by not having my hair done so I may use that money for the bag. If I can buy it - the site wasn't able to process card payments yesterday. Is that a sign I wonder 🤔
Hope everyone's enjoying their Sunday.

I was so dismayed when the strap broke on my last handbag and couldn't find anything that would match up to its specification, that I....er....tracked down the exact same one online 😂! I'm either a disgrace to women or I really don't like change!!!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!5 -

I only have 1 handbag on the go (excluding a couple of small fancy ones bought for weddings) at a time - so it's worth investing in it, imo (I'm talking £100-£200 max, not Mu1berry type prices!) - if it's used for years (I think the one which is coming to an end I've had for 10 years.... - so the £100 cost in an 0sprey outlet equates to £10/ year - well worth it)
We've just had our new DW delivered and installed by JL - I have to say the service was fantastic (so much better than OA (reversed) in Dec for the WM) - fingers crossed the 2nd delivery is in good orderI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206 -
