Texting plans advice please

Hi my yongster is comming to the end of a FLEXT 35 Tmobile contract which has been reduced to the minimum £10 and ends this month.
Whilst I know little or nothing about tarrifs I would like advice as my daughter recons that she uses 20-25 texts per day but very few talk mins and no web.
Im not interested in the phoney cash back jibber jabber.
I would like advice on the ceapest way of attainning 500-750 texts per month and do not need a new phone and dont want tying into a contract if I can avoid it but would not object if it was cheap

Why not give them an O2 Pay & Go sim? If you top up by £15 then you get 500 texts free and the £15 can be used for either calls or more texts! The other advantage of this is they can't "accidently" rake up a huge bill.

I'd second reddwarf's suggestion. O2 provide a really good service. They also give 10% of your top-ups back as credit and also O2 treats i.e free messages and calls if you top up for 3 consecutive months.

So basically you can get 650 texts a month for £15 a month. Plus £1.50 back as credit for an extra 15 texts! That works out to 2.25p a text!

tmobile do a payg texter package where each text on-net and cross-net costs only 3p. If you call them and ask to convert your contract to payg texter package you can keep phone, number and sim. HTH
