Dds second US Guided Barbotage appointment is finally sorted . A lot later than planned in 4 weeks time but needed to be done by the specialist who did it last time . Things do seem to be falling into place one by one so weather permitting we may get a few days that aren't all medical stuff to do something nice .
I'm just looking at the floods on the news . We've had a few wet nights but really hot and humid days and nights . Hopefully we can can get more settled weather soon .

Came home at lunchtime today after having to spend the night on a ward and is tired and a bit sore but fine really. Keeping up his pain killers and catching up with himself and dozing on and off on the sofa.

Nell I have just walked Cookie and picked 600grams of hazel nuts from the footpath we do regularly, the pathways were carpeted and no one is picking up this so useful source of protein, so wasteful!

Flying visit from me after a never ending Friday .

Lyn So good to hear HWK is home again .

Fuds I posted on the Fence yesterday but you may not have seen it .
We've had the letter for booking the Flu vaccine and if needed Pneumococcal .DD isn't due the latter for 2 years as she had it 3 yrs ago . Thought I'd give you a heads up in case you haven't heard yet . She's booked in for the flu on 19th Sept and they're ordering in the vaccines .

Back tomorrow hopefully. Wishing all a good nights sleep especially HWK .

I slept 10 hours solid last night and so did he, he's much brighter this morning and less uncomfortable, he was sore on his shoulders which they had warned of (had CO2 pumped in as he had keyhole surgery) but when he woke up this morning he realised that he still had the electrodes from his ECG stuck to his shoulders and sides (poor boy) and had been wearing his hospital gown in there and not noticed as he got dressed yesterday to come home! much more comfy now we've taken them off.....IS it naughty to laugh???
