Ooh, I find you all at a new fence - very fancy!

I'm stuck at School airport on the way home, the flight is delayed, I knew it was a mistake to fly with the orange and white airline.

I could do with a slice of that elephant, I'm not paying 8 Euros for a sandwich.

I've just worked out what's wrong with Mar's hot water system.....Nessie has taken a wrong turn somewhere and is not on holiday in the Adriatic as planned but is stuck in the pipes between the stove and the tank, no wonder the water isn't getting through!

Well. Nessie can just nicely fill the space left by the elephant. AND I HOPE SHE CAN HEAR THIS!

You're a hard woman!!! and I hope you have a very big freezer!
  • LOL at all the Nessie talk, that's the name I go by and I don't think any wants me in any pipes at any time ever! I'm a wee on the super chunky side. Though might explain the problem!

Thanks pollyanna, my trouble is that when I do read through and get ready to post, I can remember what was said (pretty much lol) but not by who(m?). Suppose I could put it down to age :D.

Another big Peter Kay fan here, he only has to show up on screen and I start to giggle!

MMF007 Totally understand about the aging parents, both of my parents are sadly gone, but OH's are both in their 80's and FiL is not well at all, home and can get around a bit but on oxygen 24/7 and MiL had a fall earlier in the week. Luckily we are close by, but still so many worries :(

MrsLFroggies, love it but do we get a pin or something? Is there a special handshake?

Fairly quiet morning here, gave the bathroom a slight scrub, hoovered the floor and did a freezer inventory, went out to have a coffee but it started raining so came in and popped in here! Will be doing sandwiches in a bit and OH is gathering (my hunter gatherer :rotfl: ) pizza for tea tonight so rest of the day is mine. Mine, mine, mine!! :j

Ah, Petula, I see you are on our wavelength. I don't believe that we have a special handshake but if you meet one of us in the street we will expect you to do something peculiar with a trouser leg. Naturally I can't elaborate on this or anyone may pick it up and use it, and then you won't know whether you are greeting someone from this forum or a normal sane member of the public.
Just a tip. Should you meet Hester wearing a PVC mac for goodness sake don't ask to see what she is wearing underneath. If you are of a nervous disposition you will need therapy after that.
Also, should you be north of the border it is advisable to wear garlic around your neck. If you meet someone trying to entice you with an elephant sandwich the garlic may be substituted with a bunch of kale. The effect will be electrifying.

I think that is about it for now. If you have any other questions about anyone on here don't hesitate to ask.
    Know secrets. Will tell.
I believe that friends are quiet angels
Who lift us to our feet when our wings
Have trouble remembering how to fly.

Please clarify...will Petula have to do something peculiar with her own trouser leg OR someone elses????? Mind boggling at prospects for things to go pear shaped if the latter!
