I don't think I want to be 12 again.  All that angst of adolescence?  All that going through boyfriends- is this THE ONE?  All those spots?  All that puppy fat, that lasts for 70 years in some cases and becomes Old Person's Fat?  All that worrying about what people are thinking about you?
NO!!!
I'll skip to the 'couldn't care less' stage, if you don't mind. And even if you do.

Ming, are you seriously expecting us to believe that you no longer eat sweeties now that you are (allegedly) grown up.  I won't comment on the smartass bit.  I know how far your evil vibes can reach.

I hope you had a good birthday burtha.  The best is yet to be.  Honestly.

It's not only still blowing a sizeable gale down here, it's also raining cats, dogs and elephants.  In the short while I have been awake we have had just about everything the weather can throw at us, including deceptive sunshine.  It is going to be one of those days when the light is on and off again all day, and you never know whether you are safe to sit by the fire and knit, or your conscience is driving you outside to do energetic things in the garden.
Well, other people's conscience, that is.  My conscience is still under wraps in hibernation, and that is where I intend it to stay.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY 

Before you criticise somebody you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way when you do criticise them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes.

I thought that time was supposed to drag when you had nothing to do.  Well, it doesn't.  It seems to fly by.  I can't believe that it is Saturday again.
Today is the one day of the week that I buy a newspaper, then I can spend a lovely day doing all the puzzles.  The sun is shining but I won't be tempted by its lies, it is quite likely to be dark and pouring with rain in the blink of an eye.  April showers have arrived early, but the March winds are bang on time.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY 

Today I will be happier than a seagull with a stolen chip.

Monna - I went out into the sunshine. It's freezing cold and blowing a gale. Stay inside with your newspaper and enjoy the view - as with many things, it is better than the reality!

It's very cold here and the wind is blowing straight in through the air vents so the heating has not reached it's normal level today.

Cold here too and we've  had some really heavy bursts of rain and hail. I'm  sitting down with a rug over my knees. I think  I'm  turning into my grandmother.

was ok here yesterday ( sat ) bright with odd showers, but was cold . 
need some sleep , wide awake still and it's now annoying lol ..

Happy Mothering Sunday.  Even if you have no children I'm willing to bet that you have all mothered someone or something. So all of you spoil yourselves today, even if you are the only one there to do it.

I have been told not to cook myself anything for lunch, so obviously something has been arranged.  Can't wait to find out what.  Knowing my family someone could be dropping off a packet of sandwiches.  I'll let you know.
