I think you've identified the problem burtha. I can only remember anyone looking at dds details on the screen twice since her last face to face appt with Superdoc at the end of February. The printer was spitting out paper prescriptions as he talked.Dd has had an annual PPC for years , her meds would be unaffordable otherwise.New members of staff often checked the paper one against her info on the screen.Staff would be referring to it while dispensing the meds.I'd never paid much attention to barcodes but yes they're on each med.It seems to me not crosschecking to ensure all her meds are there is causing the problems. There was only the pharmacist alone on Monday, She got it right because she checked every item,There seldom seems to be someone else to cross check.I'll feel much better next time I pick up because I will ask whoever to look on the system and check against that. It's taken until now to realise the screen has been blank over the months.I'm very grateful for you taking the time to explain things a number of times over the months.I've just remembered you were due a check up for the tumour, if you've had it I hope all is well and it's slumbering rather than causing problems.Take carepollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

No, I left the roses. Didnt want to risk killing them. My son is to pick up my big pots and planter and bring them down this weekend. At the front of the house it's all gravel and I want the big planter and a line of pots along there under the windows. I will get more roses but wait until I see what comes up in the border first. Next door lady (lovely) says there are loads of daffs that were planted by the old man who lived here last. I'm not fond of daffs at all but they will stay in there, I'm not going to vandalise his garden. The gas heating .... not sure on that. It seems to be either too hot or too cold - the coal stove was on 24/7 for most of the year and gave a steady temp all the time, heating the stone walls. This place seems to have very thin walls - and hollow doors. But it's nice that the hubby doesn't have to trek out twice a day in all weathers with hot ash or shovels of coal.Beeglie went into a TERRIBLE snit! I was deeply ashamed of her! I always thought she was bombproof lol12

I did suspect Beeglie would have strong opinions on the move. Cats always have to have their say.I'm not much of a one for daffs I like the smaller Narcissi but do have a few daffs. They're a splash of colour in the darker days. At least you'll find it easier to get the veg growing underway without trying to find suitable ways to fit them in.Was the insruction book left with the boiler? The radiators here have TRVs I think they're called which can adjust heat according to need. They weren't installed when the heating went in but I had them added a few years later. It does take time to get used to central heating. I left a lovely coal fire when I moved here and still miss it.My DA Rose brochure arrived a few weeks ago . They send it every year but I'm sitting on my hands until I see how things go in the coming months. It's good to hear you have a lovely neighbour and it does sound like a nice community. I know you never wanted to leave the hill but it was getting hard living there and you've made the right choice.I don't think you'll be so much at the mercy of the winter gales and heavy snows now although I know you love winter. It's always been my favourite season but it does impact on poor health , getting out and about etc.Beeglie is beautiful. She does have that look in her eyes I 've seen during the being owned by a cat years. We used to call it the don't mess with me look. We'd leave them alone until their inner fury over something had abated.Thinking of the hill and snow has reminded me of the day the snow knocked out the RVs Sky dish. Oh did we laugh.Thinking about it everything has happened quickly, he's probably still getting his head around it but it's going to be easier to get out for a bit of air now you don't have to travel so much. You probably wont need so many car journeys. One little shop can make a difference. When dd1 lived in Milton there was a little coop down the road in Aberfoyle. Other side of the road to the Scottish Wool Centre. It was amazing how much they sold and the staff were lovely. The only time over the years I visited Scotland I never met only lovely people was the Cowgate day. Once seen never forgotten.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

glad I may have helped a bit , as I don't work for a "national " pharmacy I don't know what system they run , but it's got to be a starting point . good luck

MingVase said:I'm not worried polly, husband is though. But we were paying a total of £200 a month on coal, elect, and Calor gas, so I def think this house is going to be cheaperIt might have to be installed by a heating engineer, though, or an electrician, because one bit is wired into the boiler, and the wirefree control panel, which runs on batteries, is positioned somewhere downstairs.(I just lurve spiders!)

I think this house will be easy to heat, I'm finding it far too hot. Coming down 800ft is always going to help. Thanks ev3rybody, we'll just have to wait and see what Octopus want us to pay

Ming, I have a main thermostat on a timer. The heating is set to come on between 06:00 and 09:00 then again at 17:00 to 22:00. It's set for 20 degrees but I can tweak it if I want to. I think 20 degrees is a good temperature to start with, then you can adjust it up or down as necessary until you find what's comfortable for you. What you will find with central heating is the heat is evenly distributed around the house, rather than the hot spot you get with a stove. One life - your life - live it!7

Ming you might be able to apply for the £140 Warm Home Discount if you are on a lowish income or vulnerable in any way. I will never forget the day I moved 800ft down the hill in Perthshire from an isolated stone house, storage heaters and wood burners, to a gas centrally heated house with two open fires if required. What a difference! I still love a woodburning stove but it would be overkill in my latest house as it's so well insulated, and several hundred miles further south!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

I find this place far too hot, but I found the last house far too hot as well, husband feels the cold Either that or he's a reptile. We don't qualify for the Warm Home thing, but I'm sure we'll be paying less than we were with coal and calor gas. I'm not worried but the husband is. However if it wasn't that he was fussing about then it would be something else eh8
