It's great talking to people from other countries, I always find them interesting and very nice.I need to eat salt though, I can't keep my sodium level up otherwise. Since the Addisons diagnosis.A head torch is very discreet. I'm just sayin.8

I'd already assumed a head torch was part of your kit after all you are a prepper. Who'd have thunk back on the original preppers thread Vanoonoo started we'd end up facing more than powercuts etc.I still think you should have concentrated on knitting arks rather than going over to the dark side with the aid of your head torch.Surely over the years one of us would have come up with a waterproofing solution. We could have packed our preps ( woud need to be very strong arks) formed an armada and set sail to pastures new.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.8 -

Lovely to hear from you again burtha. I've often wondered how you were getting on. Do you remember when we were all telling you how you would survive and thrive. It seems that it is exactly what has happened. Well done you.
As to the Halloween decs....... I can offer all the cobwebs you could possibly need.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Ah, but Monnagran, common spiderwebs are no good, You need the ones spun by the Bolivian Nine-legged Sabre Tooth Spider, who only spins webs when there's a full moon. Only the best decorations for our Fence. One life - your life - live it!9

Are you suggesting that my Isle of Wight spiders webs are of inferior quality? If you could see the spiders that produce them, the Nine-legged, Sabre toothed specimen pales into insignificance.
Common spiders webs indeed! Cheek!I believe that friends are quiet angels

When a Bolivian Nine-legged Sabre Tooth spider appears, the cats walk down the road in threes. One life - your life - live it!9
